Okay... I refuse to ruin their perfect reviews... Ice cream and service was good, they said it was their biggest rush ever at 730p on a Friday night, however: * Cookie dough ice cream had only one tiny piece of cookie dough in the entire scoop. * Couldn't taste the difference between strawberry and lemon berry flavors, at all. * Pecan praline was very nice. * Between two cones that were two scoops each, one seemed to have half the amount of ice cream of the other. * Cones are gluten free, but they're actually not all that good... Would rather they have the flavor of a Chinese Fortune Cookie. * Would love to see half the flavors be "wild and crazy", the rest gourmet versions of the classics, and for free PR always have a gimmick flavor, always. And remember to offer ice cream in donuts or whatever spreads the word... Then soon you'll be open 7 days until 2a raking in the bucks. So why 5 stars? Because they're local, they work hard to do what they're doing, running a business isn't easy, and I'll chalk this visit up to them just being utterly swamped. You can tell that they care, and I wish nothing but success for them, and know that they'll listen to my points.

After stuffing ourselves silly at Fratelli's, our local padre (yes, the actual priest!) whisked us away to this hidden gem of frozen delight. My triple chocolate cone? A cocoa lover's fever dream! Somehow magically decadent without that "I need a nap now" heaviness that Ben & Jerry's often inflicts upon unsuspecting sweet teeth. The flavor wizard behind the counter (aka the owner, Nick) rotates his special concoctions based on whatever magical ingredients he can conjure up. We got trapped in his spell as he regaled us with his ice cream dreams, wild flavor fantasies, and the rollercoaster ride of scooping for a living. This isn't your corporate frozen factory - it's a labor of love so focused on perfection that the shop's only identification is a hilariously minimalist sign that simply announces "Ice Cream." No frills, no fuss, just frozen bliss! Friends, neighbors, ice cream enthusiasts - run, don't walk to support this dairy wizard's kingdom. Your taste buds will throw you a thank-you parade!

Not exaggerating when I say this is the best ice cream I’ve ever had. Took my family and they think the same! We go as much as we can and it just keeps getting better. It’s a local homemade type of ice cream that you can’t replicate anywhere else. The owners are amazing and the scoops are massive. Still feels like a city secret but probably won’t be for long!

I don't leave reviews often, however, I HAD to with this one. My husband and I come once a week to enjoy a waffle cone full of the best ice cream I have EVER had. Nothing else compares. There's most certainly not a better ice cream shop in all Flagstaff. I have a hard time trying other flavors because the cheesecake flavors are the BEST. But I force myself because there has yet to be a flavor that was not absolutely delicious. Literally not one bad flavor. You can taste the love and passion that is put into delivering the best product. If you want an absolute delight of small batch craftsmanship and deliciously dialed in flavors, Timberline is absolutely your spot. I can guarantee you will not find a better ice cream shop in Flagstaff. Not sure I've had better in my home town of 33 years. Happy I live here now and get to experience this place every week.

Thanks Timberline, my husband and I cannot thank you enough for our favorite husband/wife weekly, date-night ice cream. We hope you're around for a long...
