Started collecting comic books again and found this place, which is a short distance from me. The owner is friendly and helpful. Helped me set up monthly subscriptions with the comics I plan on grabbing monthly. Will definitely be back, monthly.

This is a reply to the comment the owner left earlier today on my boyfriend's honest review.

If I spent $8 in cards, why was I was CHARGED nearly $15 for 34ish cards!? I was QUOTED $47 for 50ish cards ALL of which were taken from 1 box in which I was informed ranged from $.25-$1. AND the employee informed us AFTER I handed him the cards I wished to purchase that he had to go through and price EVERY. SINGLE. CARD. not just the "rares". If you watched the video then you would have noticed that much. Not to mention the card prices from TCG are lower than what I was quoted in store. Why was a Misty's Goldeen priced as $4 out of a box full of common cards? Shouldnt it be behind the glass like the others?Btw it's less than a dollar online. And no, we werent there for JUST 35 mins. We sat through a yugioh tournament. You have this neat little timer up in the corner of your shop. So I know we were there for at least an hour going through the box itself. My boyfriend had INQUIRED about other boxes to look through but I had said No, I dont want to do that being they close at 4. In which the response of the employee was, because of the tournament, they are technically open until it's over. So 430ish. I have no problem bringing you in the receipt of my transaction saying I spent $14 because if that's the case I would like the difference back. You say in the previous response the cards I purchased were only suppose to cost me $8.

We will never shop here again. Stick to comics.

Edit:: Yes, my bf and i were in today from like 3pm to a little after 4pm. My review was in response to the reply that was left on my bfs review about the experience...

I am going to leave an honest review. In response, and based upon other honest reviews, the owner will probably be rude and tell me “good story”. But here goes: Parking is horrible. I had to park across the street and walk over. The store looks run down and shady. When you walk inside, it is not much better. Those who said it looks like someone’s basement are being generous. It is very disorganized, extremely dirty, dusty and has an unpleasant odor. No one was working at the register and no one ever greeted or acknowledged us the whole time we were in the store. There was some kind of card tournament going on in the back of the store. People had fast food out everywhere and were talking very loudly, including creative strings of curse words. Some merchandise in the store was covered in dust so thick I could not read the price tag. There was a dry erase calendar in the corner of the store that still had dates and events from July 2015. Everything appeared to be overpriced and I felt like I needed gloves to look through things. We left without purchasing anything and will not return based upon this experience. We went across town to the store on Richfield Rd. We were greeted as soon as we walked in the door. It was clean and well organized, no dust, no bad odors. They will have...

Editing my review to one star based on the store response below. I have no reason to make up stories about my experiences, and to accuse a customer of doing so is no better business than talking bad about another store.

I stopped in for some storage boxes because my normal store is closed on Sundays. I wish I would have waited until they opened back up.

The person working was friendly enough, but I noticed that he was talking over another customer who was asking about variant covers. He seemed like he was pretty passionate about whatever they were talking about so I contributed it to his excitement.

We shopped around and each picked out a book then went to check out. We mentioned that we normally shop at another store on the other side of town. The young man proceeded to say oh I don't like them, they're scummy. He continued on that he's never been in the store, he's just "heard things" from another customer.

I'm sorry but there's absolutely no reason to bad mouth another comic book store. It's not like it's a flooded market in the area. In fact most shops will tell you about other shops to help build the market...

To bad mouth a store that you have no personal experience with at all is beyond bad business. It seems to me like you're just trying to drive business...
