Goodfellas Pizzeria - Flint — Restaurant in Flint

Have been hearing a lot about this place and wanted to try it out and support local of course! Just ordered a basic pepperoni. I was a little surprised by the price, while ordering, but upon receiving the pizza, it made more sense. This pizza is HUGE and the slices are giant. Opinion from the youngin....not a big fan. Understandable. She isn't really used to NY style. Opinions from the adults. We pretty much both agreed on everything. We do tend to eat alot of pizza. The crust of the pizza was delicious. Crispy. We liked it. The sauce, the flavor was good. There just was hardly any. The cheese was also scarce. It definitely needed more. The pepperoni was delicious and plentiful. (Note: you can obviously add extra sauce for an up charge of like .50 I think and cheese for $1 upcharge) I would have done that had I known just how little of both were on there, but wanted to try the pizza for what it was. They haven't been open long so I'm sure these little kinks they will work out. Give then a try and decide...

I had HIGH hopes for this place. 22$ for a large ham and bacon. So not terrible prices. I eat pizza 2-3 times a week. And have had probably every pizza in Genesee county. This pizza had good flavor , bacon was good and not real fatty. I asked for light sauce. Sauce was light . But very flavorful. There was not a lot Of cheese. Which was disappointing, The crust was absolutely over cooked. Zero flavor on the crust. It literally tasted like burnt cardboard. And even if it did have a little flavor. It was not edible as it was just to crunchy/burnt. I will try it again. But will have to be by my self. My wife says it’s one of the worst pizzas she has ate. I will try the bbq chicken next time. And hopefully update this review. ...

I'm giving a review without having tried anything... just looking at the menu, pictures and the prices, I don't see myself ever ordering from here. Was looking at places for pizza tonight, but was COMPLETELY thrown off by the pics and prices of menu items... I was excited for a new pizza place to order from by me, but I don't see me ordering anything any time soon... who knows... maybe it's worth the price...??? Hate to be a pessimist, but I highly doubt they have anything different than what's offered around them for cheaper prices... (I have also worked at MANY pizza places)
