Big John Steak & Onion — Restaurant in Burton

I've been working here for about 4-5 months now and I have to say out of all the places I've worked this place is definitely in my top 3 best places to work and eat. The food is great, the service is fast, even though sometimes the orders get a little insane, it's not nearly as grueling as some other places you hear about when it comes to management and employee professional relationships. They definitely try to work with you and your schedule, and can be flexible when needed. In the same token it's not a place to go to work if you plan on slacking off, you will definitely work and earn your pay 🤪..anyways nothing bad about this place at all, so to sum it up 10/10. Definitely worth a try if you're looking for a new place to eat and not looking to spend a whole lot of money...just don't go insane when ordering...

I was only back in Flint for a few hours. I had to get from Metro to Bishop in just under 17 minutes. So naturally I wasn't concerned. Then I hit a little weather rough patch, just your normal mid March Artic Storm. I love big John steak and onions. Always reminds me of my childhood and how my grandma and grandpa used to take us kids every weekend. Something about the smell when you walk in the door is just breathtaking. Definitely can take you back. I always get a 12-inch steak sub with mushrooms green peppers and extra cheese. Yummy!
