This park is a family favorite. The playground is large and has a variety of equipment for the kids to play on. There are plenty of benches and a gazebo with picnic tables right next to the playground. Plenty of trash cans that seem to be emptied regularly. There are ponds with fish and turtles. Docks and bridges help you get a better view of the ponds residence. There are not very many ducks or geese which is fine by me because you don't have to dodge the bird's mess when walking the trails or sidewalks. There are plenty of places to stop and rest along the trails and the grounds are very well kept. There is a lot of room for just about any activity that you might want to do at a park. The restrooms seem to be kept up pretty well too. I've only been in them a few times for all of the many times I've been to this park but every time, they were clean. As a plus, if you want to grab a bite to eat and take it to the park, there are plenty of restaurants and fast food places nearby. It's just a nice place, in a nice location. With...

"A Hidden Gem in Florence – Deibert Park with Ducks, Turtles, and Unique Trees!"

If you’ve never ventured off Florence Blvd, you’re missing the peaceful charm of Deibert Park. This beautiful, tucked-away spot features a serene duck pond, and if you look closely, you’ll often see turtles basking along the water’s edge—adding to the park’s natural appeal. The walking trails wind through an abundance of lush trees, many of which have fascinating "knees" rising from the ground, giving a unique and almost mystical vibe to the park.

Deibert Park is perfect for a relaxing stroll or just soaking in the tranquility of nature. With ample parking and plenty of shade from the trees, it’s an ideal place to spend a peaceful afternoon. If you’re in Florence, don’t miss this hidden gem—it’s the kind of place that invites you to slow down, enjoy the beauty around you, and watch the ducks and turtles go...

This is a great park !!! It's very safe and we'll maintained, I've walked my dogs there. They have poop receprocols for your dog waste and free poop bags to pick up after you dog. I've never stepped in any suprises. They have three large ponds with bridges to cross if you desire,or you can walk around them on a paved sidewalk size path. Lots of birds ,ducks, frogs, fish and turtles. They have a children's park and it's very well maintained. No dogs allowed in that area of course and that's expected. Well , I expect that. There were alot of children interacting and laughing. And so we're their parents. Also it's a great place for seniors to walk. There's nice clean benches to sit and rest or just enjoy the park. I can't say enough nice thing about this park, just go and Vista it for yourself, you'll be...

Deibert Park is more than a place—it’s a mindset reset. From the moment you step onto the path, there’s a calm that wraps around you like armor. Whether you’re jogging through the shaded trails, training for a 5K, or just walking to breathe and think, the atmosphere invites clarity and focus. It’s clean, quiet, and grounded in natural beauty. The ducks on the pond, the breeze through the trees, even the benches tucked into quiet corners—all of it makes Deibert feel like a sanctuary for the soul and the body. I’ve used this park as my training ground, my therapy, and my place to reflect when life gets overwhelming. It’s where I prepare to fight, but also where I remember why I’m still standing. Highly recommend it for anyone who needs movement, peace, or just a moment to hear yourself think. -J3🥊

It is a awesome place to walk or jog your blues away. A lake with walk across bridges all the walkways are extra wide & concrete. Benches along the way to sit if you need a break. Playground for children nice, a shelter next to playground. Bathroom facilities, water fountain for drinking. Nice place to sit just outside the bathroom facility. Older Tall pine trees the lawns and landscaping are extremely well kept. A must see and experience also you may walk your dog on a leash with advantage of free poop bags and disposal. Enjoy the big blue sky of Florence, Alabama.

This park is stunningly beautiful and so very serene and peaceful. It is the perfect demonstration of Florence's grand outdoor attitude and exhibits our local pride for our parks and for our rich heritage. If you have not had the pleasure, grab the family pet, a Frisbee, a kite, your roller blades or just a picnic basket and get there today. Feed the fish and turtles before you stroll past the blue calming waters and gaze up at the rustling pines in the forest. Truly a Florence treat!!
