I love ALDI for its small market feel with its wide variety of items. The produce is the first thing you see when you walk in the store and it always looks so delicious. I've rarely been disappointed with a produce purchase, and the one or two times I was, they were happy to swap it out for something better. The store branded items are comparable to brand name items at a much better price and they have some freezer items that you can't get at other grocery stores in the area. I also love taking a stroll down the aisle with the non-grocery items to see what new treasures they have every time I visit. I have bought many great things there. One of my all time favorite purchases is my coated skillet with lid in a fun color that is a copycat of a similar high-end skillet that costs close to $100 or more. My skillet was less than $20! I can see why people love the expensive ones. I love mine so much but I love the price even more. It's a great, clean store with a wide variety of items. The staff is always friendly and helpful. And it's always my store of choice when just needing to grab some milk or bread or similar as you can be in and out in 5 minutes easily. Parking is always a breeze too! Just don't forget your quarter for the cart and your reusable...
Read moreThe store is always clean, stocked, and organized. The staff is helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. The young cashier saw I was tired and having difficulty with numerous large heavy items due to wrist injury. She was sympathetic and could relate to the pain. She shared her story about almost severing her little finger that required major surgery to reattach and all the help she needed. I know she had more pain and difficulty maneuvering than me!! I was so slow bagging my groceries that I was their last customer. She took my cart full of heavy groceries and placed them strategically in my car so it would be easier for me to unload. Now that is called great customer service and paying it forward! Kudos to that sweet 21 year old girl!! Wish I had asked her name to give the proper recognition...
Read moreWe don't go to Aldi every week, but mainly for specific things that are cheaper or just better quality than, say, Wal-Mart. It's not always just groceries either. They have a whole aisle of special items (usually seasonal) that we peruse every time we go there. Last time I found a 4 spout faucet splitter for my outside faucet with easy on/off levers that I absolutely love. Their whole wheat bread, produce, and dairy are always lower priced and better quality than the other stores we shop, and they run weekly meat specials that are really competitive. Also, they have the fastest cashiers of ANY grocery chain, which makes for a quick in and out, without spending a lot of time standing in line. That means a lot to...
