I went here for the first time today, my husband eats here often, he likes it. They have huge signs that advertise the buffalo chicken meal for $6.49, I order it. I was charged the regular price. The sandwich was less than desirable because the chicken was dry and tough and the bread super soggy like the buffalo sauce was dumped in the bread. I got a 5" sandwich and most of it went into the trash. I then politely asked why I was charged the regular price instead of the advertised price and was told "that's just how it rings up". Yes it's only 2.09 difference, and I naturally can live without that $2.09, but that is not the point. The cashier went to ask someone else and that gentleman came and told me the same thing she did. It didn't make any sense to me and apparently no one working could explain to me why. I know they wanted me to walk away and give up on it, but I was not going to let it go. The gentleman did open the cash drawer and forced $2.00 at me and said "there" with an attitude. I didn't get my $.09, again, not the point. If you are going to advertise something, then charge the advertised price. And serve quality food for the price you're charging. My husband can enjoy it there, but I...
Read moreIt's generally a little more expensive here, but it was previously worth the price. First - both the girl at the register & the young man making the sandwich were friendly & polite. Our sandwich was made quickly, and the girl brought it to our table. The dining area was clean, tables wiped down, etc. Hubby & I ordered a 15" meatball sub, to split. They were nice enough to split it & bring it out on 2 trays. While the sub looked amazing, the taste was mediocre. There was exactly one meatball in each section, there was very little sauce, and they no longer have provalone - the sub was topped with a PROCESSED American/Swiss cheese slice (this may be an old change - until recently we were only down south 2x/year). For a $16+ sub, I expect more than 4 measley meatballs... I also expect more sauce than what sticks to the meatball, and I expect real cheese - not processed junk that is filled with salt, water, preservatives and just enough cheese to not be accused of false advertising. We have previously loved Lenny's, so we may give it one more try, with a different sandwich. But if he is skimping on other ingredients and not using real cheese, we...
Read moreIf I could post with no stars I would, the original owners where awesome never had a poor experience, Lennys was probably my favorite place to eat at that time, I tried to pre-order I couldnât get anyone on the phone for two hours and just made the trip up their anyway, when I told them about their phone they informed me that there was nothing wrong with their phones so I had to call from my phone to show them that there actually was, I got my food to go, I was going to eat part of mine in the truck when I open it the bread was so soggy wet that it fell apart everywhere and when I called them to tell them they said it wasnât their fault that I couldnât keep my sandwich together and refused to do anything about it, I called the home office several times left messages they didnât care to get back in touch with me, . Iâve never had an experience like that at any sub shop or food service as far as that goes, to be honest the worst sub sandwich Iâve ever gotten from subway was better than that one but now I think fire house subs at the...
