All Person's Rotary Park Playground offers a divided play space catering to different age groups, featuring separate play and swing areas for toddlers aged 2 to 5 and older children. The larger play area boasts wheelchair-accessible ramps, ensuring inclusivity for all children. Additionally, the inclusion of a splash pad adds an extra dimension of enjoyment during warmer months.
However, the park's restroom facilities leave much to be desired, often being wet, presumably due to visitors coming from the splash pad. While convenient, the restroom cleanliness could be improved to enhance the overall experience.
Situated adjacent to a softball/baseball field and shaded by a canopy of mature trees, the park offers a pleasant environment for families. The rubberized playground surface, coupled with mulch, provides safety and comfort for children at play. Despite showing signs of aging, such as rusty spots on equipment, the park management has taken measures to address safety concerns by using electrical tape for protection.
Overall, All Person's Rotary Park Playground appears to be a popular spot within the neighborhood, especially during the summer months. However, its appeal may diminish for older children above 8 years old, as it primarily caters to younger age groups. Despite this limitation, the park remains a valuable asset for families seeking outdoor recreation and socialization...
Read moreThis is a lovely idea for a children's park. Has shade from several live oaks. It's a small park with handicap accessibility. This park was created to allow children with disabilities and all children to enjoy. Much of the maintenance depends on free or donated services. There is a splashpad. Unfortunately, it has not been operable since Hurricane Milton in September 2024. There is no communication of any kind of the nature of the problem or if the splashpad will open for spring/summer 2025. This park depends highly on the people who enjoy bringing their children to keep the park clean. The covered picnic locations are often used for children's parties. And it is always a "clean up after...
Read moreLove the park and so does my 3 year old. Many slides and swings, plenty of running space. There's a separate slide and swing area for kids under 3 also. It would be better if they had some sand in the 'sand pit', it's always been dirt and rubber chips (which makes me nervous). Only reason I give it a 4 is because of the bathrooms. I don't know why, because surely there's always a parent with any kids in the bathrooms, but they are always gross. If they're not gross they've just been hosed down, which is better, but then it's totally wet on the floor and a 3 year old is not great at keeping her pants from touching the floor in any case. So once your kids don't wear diapers it's...
