I went to the gym last week sort of by accident. I needed to run into BJs next door to do a return. I then was curious about what Youfit is like and what it has to offer. I decided to stop by the gym to inquire about maybe having a membership at this location. I was greeted by Luis the director of personal training. He was very kind and pleasant to me and answered all of my questions! I was very pleased how helpful and knowledgeable Luis was! I decided to join the gym right on the spot! I asked Luis because I have been out of shape and haven't been working out and going to the gym much if maybe there was a personal trainer I could work with on short notice. To my luck Luis matched me up with Adam. What an awesome trainer Adam is! Adam is very intelligent and dedicated to his work as a personal trainer! And as well he's knowledgeable to offer very beneficial nutrition information! He showed me things that I've never known that I could do at the gym. He really helped me so much to do exercises with the correct and right form since I was doing them wrong by myself. Primarily my goal is to lose some belly fat and increase my muscle tone. Adam is one of the best trainers I've ever worked with and I've worked with a lot! I learned so much spending time with Adam! He was so patient to answer all my questions and extremely knowledgeable and such a kind person! I'd give this review 10 Stars instead of 5 if I could because Adam was so great! I've been a manger of many companies and have been over seeing employees for the past 25 years. So I'd like to say regarding Adam because I think he's one of the best trainers I've ever worked with when it's time for him to get a review at the gym by his managers I think he should get a pay raise or be promoted! Everyone was so nice at this gym and it wasn't super crowded like other Youfit Gyms that I've been to in the Miami area. Everything is really clean and everything is very professional! I'm looking forward to my workouts to see Luis again and train again with Adam! If you're looking for an awesome gym experience ask for Luis to tell you about the gym and their training programs! And to have an overall out-standing experience with a skilled and intelligent personal trainer be sure to ask for Adam! You'll get an excellent personal one-on-one training session! Read moreI rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel obligated to warn others. (see update below) My wife and I joined based on what seemed like a great deal: 4 personal training sessions per week, as promised by an employee named Claudina. But once we reviewed the contract — after signing — we realized it only included 2 sessions per week. We were misled.
Even worse, the sessions weren’t truly “personal.” The trainer was constantly splitting attention between multiple clients. That’s group training — not what we were sold.
When we decided to cancel, we followed the process to the letter. We submitted the cancellation form in person, over 60 days in advance, and received confirmation. Yet, we were still charged for two more months after we the contract ended.
We’ve been trying to resolve this for weeks with no clear solution. The current manager, Patrick, is polite and trying to help, but it’s clear this issue goes beyond him. Shockingly, the gym claims there’s no corporate contact number, which raises even more red flags.
At this point, we feel scammed. The contract ended, yet they continue to charge us. We just want our money back and to make sure this doesn’t happen to someone else.

As part of routinary checkup I went to see my Youfit Statements / Charges to discover that for my wife's membership they have been charging (in Club TransactionS) $2.28 or $2.99 a couple of times for in Club beverages. Apparently, some Gym staff are drinking free beverage to my expenses. This is unacceptable.

Read moreFor starters, I tried enrolling my minor brother for a gym membership around Oct 2018 and was told different versions when finally a manager said to me that I could do it under my name because my brother was a minor. Next, she sold me five sessions with a trainer for my brother for $120.00. Only to find out that it was four sessions not five. Then, the trainer resigned, and my brother was no longer interested in attending, so I asked Lauren the new manager to reimburse me for the sessions, and she told me that she could not do that because the contract stated that cancellation of sessions/reimbursements could only be made within 48-72 after enrolling. Finally, on Nov 30, 2018, I had the time to stop by and cancel the membership, so at this point, I had lost the $120 for the sessions and two months of premiums that were being deducted from my account. When I canceled my membership I was told that since I did not provide YouFit with a 10 DAY NOTICE of my cancellation, I was going to be charged for Dec's premium and an annual fee, and that out of courtesy they were going to waive the $10 cancellation fee. All and all, I lost $233.38.
Furthermore, the customer service is horrible, and the staff is poorly trained. My advice is seek other options and read the gym contracts carefully! Gyms will ask for your routing and account number, meaning they have full access to your account as oppose to just leaving your card number, which can always be canceled and replaced...
