The event on 6/12/21 for Jacob Forever in concert was pretty disappointing. It was sold as a Jacob Forever concert. The information said the doors opened at 8 but this is misleading. Nobody knew when the concert would start or if the artist was in the building. At 11:45 we were still dancing with recorded music. I requested a refund from the owner of the event ( Alex?)since I had not received the services I paid for, and I got the most horrible and disrespectful treatment. He made sure to question me if I had ever been in a concert and argue with me as if I was supposed to know the artist was coming at midnight. He went farther questioning my origen. I explained him that the advertisement didn’t say that. They made a nightclub out of this “concert” and we simply had to wait until the artist show up, and never told publicly the time when the artist would start.. It was altogether a very unpleasant experience. I will never come to another event of this kind. I left the event at 12:14 and the artist had not...
Read moreI had the bad experience of being mistreated by the supposed owner, for no reason, I'm not going to call him a person because he doesn't deserve to be called with respect. He is rude, ill-mannered, disrespectful, arrogant, out of nowhere he told me that he could throw me out of his premises just because it was his and he had the right, all for saying (Hello) after speaking to me in a very bad way about an open door that I hadn't opened, he simply arrived and barking more than a dog without even saying hello told me that the door couldn't be open, which had nothing to do with me, I don't recommend anyone deal with a person like that and much less have a party in that place, there are plenty of places and I'm sure there will be better options compared to this one. Not only is the owner unpleasant, the place is super dark, the audio is terrible, it's very hot, and to top it all off, there's a dead cockroach at the entrance to the room. It's a truly bad amateur show. Only one woman is handing out food and drinks, as well as picking up everything left by guests on each table. In my opinion, it's exploitation of that woman. Overall, it's poor management in every sense. Anyone who works with the public should have the minimum of politeness. If you don't know how to treat people, you're in the wrong profession.
Read moreI find Opera Naples to be a gem. Being as it is a smaller venue, there is not a single bad seat in the house. I’ve been enjoying tremendously their season, even though we haven’t been able to attend to nearly as many concerts as we wished: the almost one hour drive from our home, added to the (it would seem) American tradition of starting the concerts earlier in the evening than the European tradition, renders it almost impossible to make plans for week days performances. Nonetheless, it’s worth the effort. It’s important to mention that, as far as I know, Opera Naples is the only house of its type that offers tickets to veterans - through Vettix program - in the state of Florida. Taking into account they don’t have as many seats to sell as other venues of its kind, I believe that says a lot about the principles and ideas of those who are in...
