Don’t let this motel fool you. It’s a diamond in the rough and a desert oasis. At first glance it appears to be a standard motel, but when you check in you’ll find two wonderful guest services employees at the front desk. Mary and Maria! They are both knowledgeable about the area and friendly. At the front facing exterior there is an IHOP in the same parking lot. Breakfast anyone? On the interior you’ll find a standard pool with seating and umbrellas that is sure to keep the kids busy while mom and dad enjoy the large in ground spa after a long day at the beach.(see photo) The room options are perfect for couples, professionals, vacations, staycations, and families. Two Double Beds Rooms - King Rooms - Suites with full kitchens and separate bedrooms with pullout sofas. My room was exceptional in its cleanliness. The bed was comfy with plenty of pillows and the blankets are perfect for hot sleepers like me. The A/C in the room will get cold enough to satisfy a Polar Bear. Exactly what you need after a hot day on the beach. If you don’t read any other part of this review, read this one. Sign up for Redi Rewards! It’s the Red Roof Rewards Program. You get 10 points per dollar before tax and it’s only costs 8500 points for a free night. AAA members can double that now through September 2nd by registering on the Redi Rewards site for the Redi Rewards Roadtrip. That’s 20 points per dollar before tax. That’s a free night every $450 dollars and you can use them as soon as they post to your rewards account. Highly Recommend!

I went here to be "safer" during hurricane Ian. Unfortunately the 1rst floor got flooded out, which was where my friends and I had a room. The water came up so fast - we had to get out in a hurry. The staff was amazing. They organized replacing all who needed to get out of their rooms so quickly and efficiently at risks to themselves helped us all. It was truly a terrifying experience but they were so wonderful. I'm sorry that I don't know those names because I'd like everyone to know that each one of them were heroes. I would give them a billion stars. We were moved to the 3rd floor, into a suite - which has to be THE best kept secret (no longer :) in Naples.Red Roof doesn't have a great reputation but let me tell you if you are thinking of a weekend trip walking distance to 5th St or a vacation to Naples, book a suite at this Red Roof - on Davis right behind the IHOP. And you'd better do it fast, because according to Google, a lot of people read my reviews 😁. And thank you again, so much, Red Roof manager and all your amazing staff, for your courage and calmness during that horrific storm.

To start off it is very deceiving to call this place a hotel, it is much more corer to call it a motel. We arrived Dec 28 and were told upon arrival pool is broken and may take up to 2 weeks to repair. When I entered the room there was a very strong moldy smell to the room, and I found out quickly why, when we tried turning on the dishwasher it quickly flooded the floor in the kitchen, I’m including a video of the machine leaking non stop. Asked some some pots large enough to cook for our family and was given small pan instead, including a picture of the pan and horrible condition it was in, just filthy. We are a family of 6 and had to use the foldout couch, it was truly the most horrible sleep I’ve had in years, the mattress felt like I was sleeping on springs all night and I could feel the metal bars below the mattress. We asked for a refund the next day and found another hotel in the area with a much better experience. Strongly suggest to avoid this place, unless you are used to substandard places.

I would probably give it a 3.5 if I could but I don't think its a 4.

I stayed in a standard double room for seven nights. If not for having to pay in full up front/non-refundable, I would have likely changed hotels.

First of all, the staff was excellent. The front desk was a joy to be around. They were very nice and helpful when I needed them to be. The rooms were clean. It is because of this that I wish I could rank it higher but here is why I cannot:

The air conditioner was on when we arrived but the room felt wet and smelled strongly of chlorine. I attributed this to being by the pool. The beds were average. We didn't have achy hips or backs after sleeping on them but they aren't terribly special. The pillows were worthless. They are labeled on the cases as Firm and Soft but they should be labeled Flat and Flatter. They were awful. I wound up using my memory foam airport neck pillow at night. That is how bad they were.

The bathroom was TINY. Barely enough room to get in to close the door. The TV doesn't have many channels and it is not a smart tv nor a large one. Watch out for those $20 on-demand movies. We must've clicked on one without knowing because it showed up on our bill after we left. I called and they refunded it to me because they could see that I didn't actually watch it.

Parking is not great if you are on the inside of the hotel with a pool view. My husband has a hard time walking sometimes and we had quite a far walk from the car to the room. The hotel is within walking distance to iHop and Olive Garden but we still drove for my husband.

Walls are thin and the room is lit up at night. So, if you need quiet and darkness, do not forget your earplugs and sleep mask. There was no way to keep the light out of the room. The only option for white noise is the A/C which is usually fine for us but this unit was very loud and random. It always sounded like someone was trying to get in our room at night but it was just the A/C knocking.

This hotel is on the edge of the nice part of Naples so if you like the better part of town, go elsewhere. We will not...

I'm guessing this place has long term residents, or possibly people living there for weeks or months at a time. I can't figure it out, but there is a group of 10 people or so, who are always hanging around the common areas, bopping from room to room, and get loud and party at nights until daylight morning hours. I'm assuming government assisted housing at this hotel, as they seem capable of working, yet lounge at the pool all day as a group. It's like a trailer park scene of gossipy, idle people. It's especially poor taste to come home and walk over people as they're sitting on on the staircases. I was always looking around to see who is watching me as I return to my room because I'm the outsider who goes out and does something productive each day. I was there for 5 days on work and observed this. I wouldn't expect to find such a group of losers in Naples. For the hotel- the grounds were tidy, and the room was clean. I had no bath towels on day one, the coffee pods were decaf only, and the tv remote barely works. The remote battery covers are riveted shut, so it takes some serious maintenance work to change the batteries and the front desk would rather hand you a new remote hoping it works. Three tries later, I finally had a remote that could at least change the channel. The tv guide feature didn't work, so you only change up and down channels without knowing what is on. The layout of the hotel is such that if you want to open your curtains to sunlight, then everybody can see inside your room. Staff was accommodating, and I was upgraded to a premium room due to my complaining after 5 hours of being there. The premium room upgrade includes an extra pillow per bed, a coffee maker, and a couple of granola bars. I would think those are standard features for most any other hotel. For a cheap stay and you don't mind riff-raff, then...

I booked a room here for one night with my husband and infant because we had some renovations going on at home. The check in area wreaked of marijuana and had an huge disgusting leak in their roof so I couldn’t wait to get to the room and get my infant out of there. Then we load onto the elevator and it was lacking AC so we were all bright red dripping sweat trying to find our room. Upon entering the room seemed nice. We went for dinner at Olive Garden which was walking distance, score! Then the horror began. Someone pounded on our door at midnight then lingered outside the room which woke up our baby. I was so upset and scared I couldn’t go back to sleep. We made it through the night. In the morning I wanted to take a bath, but all I could smell was piss which was strange because we hadn’t even used the bathroom!! I wet a towel and swiped the floor and it was bright yellow I almost puked. The tub had some sort of hole in it, my guess would be a bullet hole. I didn’t even step foot in there because I was disgusted. I then went to wash my hands and when I pulled a rag out there was black hairs all over it. Both my hubby and I have blonde hair!!! DISGUSTING! At that point I wasn’t even sure the sheets had been changed between us and the last person so I stripped the bed and all towels in the room and wet them so they would be forced to clean them. I got home and had to take an hour long shower to get rid of the ick. Then we took the stairs down and the AC fan LEAKED ON MY HEAD. NEVER AGAIN!!! RUN THE OTHER WAY!!!! (Not to mention the pool is closed for renovation and that wasn’t disclosed...
