Panama City Beach Winery — Attraction in Florida

The world's only patented citrus winery resides here in Panama City Beach. Everything we tried is made of fruit or that of the citrus kind. They have a huge variety to choose from and found it to be really great! The wine is made in St. Peterburg, but the owner is based out of PCB. He was actually running the joint when we were here. Don't expect to find a "vineyard" as this is a place that you walk into their tasting room and try their many options of wine.

Some of their wines are pretty eclectic. One option they have is an orange coffee wine. It is considered a dessert wine and if you pair it with a dessert, you will see why. My husband nor I are coffee drinkers, but it was worth trying purely for the intrigue. I could definitely see many people loving this, but it was not for us. Other wines we tried included the guava, passionate fruit, mango, the semi-sweet blueberry, watermelon, and several more. We took home the coconut wine, grapefruit wine, key lime wine, plus a couple of mixers to make froze wine coolers that go with the wine we purchased. You are only allowed 8 tastings per visit, so we came over the course of two days to get a full scale of what the offerings were before we purchased.

We will be enjoying one of our wines before we depart our honeymoon. It was a great place to visit and totally worth checking out if you enjoy wine. They have a giftshop as well for you to take home little wine-related items as well if you so wish. We bought of a couple of coasters that would...

We stopped by on our last night in PCB and had such a delightful experience! Free wine samples? Yes, please! You get to try up to eight different wines of your choice (from what’s available), plus a sample of the mulled wine and one of the wine slushy flavors—such a fun treat!

Our favorite by far was the Blackberry wine, and we would have loved to take a bottle (or two) home. Unfortunately, it was sold out, with a restock scheduled for the next day—just after we were heading out. But no worries, that just means we’ll have to come back next time we’re in PCB (and, of course, enjoy more samples—because, well… free wine!).

This place is the most adorable place ever. The staff is absolutely amazing. This was mine and my hubby's first time here and we will be back each time we come back here to visit. When we arrived, we were immediately greeted and a beautiful young lady started our wine tasting. I believe her name was Kaylee. She was very knowledgeable and simply fabulous. She knew her wines and offered some great suggestions. We were able to try 8 different wines between the two of us. I asked her how long she had been doing this and she said approx 3-4 months...we were shocked. With her knowledge I would have thought years. She is a true asset and a great salesperson.
