Duchesne Park — Attraction in Florissant

They haven't upgraded or replaced the playground equipment in at least a cpl decades. The swings are getting pretty worn and rusty. Dog park is just a fenced in area, so I guess it's cool if you don't have a yard for your dog to run around in, but that's the extent of the purpose of serves. There's a pavilion and BBQ pit that's are always dirty and gross, and the water fountains i dont remember working since the late 90s. Manion Park is literally a few hundred feet away and is MUCH nicer and newly remodeled. Hard pass @ Duchesne....

Park is too close to Cold Water Creek, not enough barriers to prevent children and others who are curious from going in. Sign posted in front will NOT deter ANYBODY, vague wording does not alert Park goers that the Creek is contaminated w/ toxic nuclear waste!!!!! Adjacent St. Ferdinand Park and Queen Ann Park are way safer, the City of Florissant needs to do what's right and shut this park...
