WMAAH is, by FAR, the best Martial Arts school in the North County area. My daughter has been in M.A. since she was a few months from turning four. She is now seven (& a Red First!!) We started her out at another well known facility in the area. There she earned her green belt. Unfortunately, the facility was not a good "Fit" & the prices were FAR too high for only two 45min classes a week. From there, after pricing every facility in the No.Co. area, we decided on World Martial Arts Academy Hazelwood & started her back at White Belt. After only TWO WEEKS into our Free Month Trial we signed on. I knew WMAAH was a perfect fit for my daughter! She BEGGED to stay! Now, for one monthly payment: she trains, on average, 10 hours a week (sometimes MORE!!) She LOVES that she can take multiple classes per day SIX DAYS A WEEK (I love that all that training is included in the LOW monthly payment!) Master Dickerson is an AMAZING Instructor! He teaches all the Taekwondo classes making sure there is continuity & consistency in the instruction. My daughter also takes Sparring Class as well as Weapons Class! This is not just a review but a testimony of how amazing Master Dickerson, Leadership team Ms. Jackie, Mr. Jeff, Ms. Jennifer and Ms. Pearl along with countless others. This organization meets you were you are at and takes you mentally and physically to a place that you have no idea that you can go. Regardless of physical ability or age they will encourage you to challenge yourself. Classes include children young as 3 and even grandparents. You make life long relationships with complete strangers as you progress. They not only invest in the community but they also support the community. Most recently we completed the Glow Run to support suicide awareness. My entire family has joined the WMAAH family and it was the best decision that we made !! Signing my children up for Taekwondo at this school and joining in on the fun with them has created some of the most happy and memorable times of my life. The instruction, training and discipline, along with all of the fun and jokes is great for the whole family. One of the best decisions of my life that I've ever made.
