My wife and I stayed at this hotel from 13-14 Sep 2025 (one night) for a quick visit to some close friends celebrating a special event. Prior to staying here, I did some online research and I couldn't identify any validated, negative reviews of this property, so I reserved it. Although it isn't always required for me to stay on a Hilton property, I try my best to find Hilton properties at my destination since I've been a long time Hilton Rewards member, and I was fortunate enough that there was a Hilton close to my friend's house. When we walked in the hotel, I immediately noticed how modern and clean the hotel lobby was - this was surprising considering the age of the building.
The check-in process was seamless; however, I wasn't sure why this property required me to check-in when I arrived because normally, I'm able to check-in online and receive the digital key the same day as my first night's stay, without having to visit the front desk upon arrival. Regardless, the employee working the front counter that day, Mario, did a remarkable job - he was extremely professional and friendly. Not to mention, I appreciated his text to ensure everything was kosher with the room and in general.
The room itself was nice; I immediately noticed the carpet throughout the entire room (minus the bathroom of course), which was slightly unpleasant for me. I enjoy hotel rooms that have non-carpet areas so I can place my personal belongings there without having to worry about getting bed bugs on my items. But this also wasn't a show stopper for me either. The bed and pillows were comfortable and the room itself was spacious. I chose the room facing the opposite direction of the front entrance and pool area, so my view was an open field, business centers, and mountains (this side was more quiet since it wasn't facing the main road). The bathroom was nice and had adequate water pressure in the shower. Although, I can't say I'm a fan of the bath towels being placed in the shower area - it just seems counterintuitive on keeping the new towels dry. The towels were nice and had no evidence of "questionable" stains on them. The hotel toiletries were the standard brand at most, if not all Hilton properties - no issues with those products.
Safety and security wasn't an issue during my stay. In fact, I noticed a legitimate amount of cameras throughout the property which always aids in deterrence and provides added comfort to hotel guests and staff. The restaurant on the property (Garden Grille and Bar) was nice; we ended up eating brunch there on the day of checkout (I posted a separate review of that restaurant via Google). Parking was a non-issue during my stay; the hotel provides an adequate amount of spaces for guests. For you folks that are pulling a trailer or camper, I suspect you could park either in the main parking area or easily park behind the hotel (I noticed semi trucks parked there overnight).
Overall, this hotel provided comfort and astonishing customer service - every employee I talked to was very friendly. I can't say that I enjoyed the hotel prices here but that's expected in California. Then again, I am used to seeing those types of outrageous prices living in Las Vegas (ref: Las Vegas Strip properties). I liked this hotel as depicted in my 4-star rating. It definitely wasn't my favorite Hilton hotel I've stayed at, but it also wasn't close to being the worst either. I highly recommend this hotel...
Read moreNormally I hate leaving bad reviews about someone or someplace but this time I had to get it off my chest. I will not be staying here anymore and if you are a fellow team member I would say forget it, My husband, daughter and I came to visit some friends here for the first time and since my husband is a manager at a Hilton hotel we booked this hotel. Before leaving on New Year’s Eve he called to request an early check in but was told politely by the night front desk person that it was not a guarantee due to them being completely full and that housekeeping would start at 8 am to which my husband said he totally understood. After driving all night from Arizona to California we arrived at 6:30am at which point we had some breakfast at the hotel. After having breakfast my husband approached a young woman with glasses and said he was from another property and had been driving all night and if there might be a chance we could check in early as possible to which her reply was “ check in is at three”, to which my husband said he understood and that we were just going to sit in the lobby and wait because he did not want to drive anymore. please don’t get me wrong, we were not looking for any kind of favoritism of some sort, we were just asking the same as anyone else would. We checked twice, once at 10:30 and again at 12pm, That lady made us sit in the lobby the whole day until the next shift came in at 2pm and he checked us in. You cannot tell me there was no clean room available since the housekeeper started cleaning at 8 am, that woman just didn’t want to go the extra step, she is not a good representation of Hilton or this hotel (which as far as this hotel is concerned is a 5 star) it is just a shame that I have to make this kind of review about an employee but honestly I wouldn’t even give...
Read moreAwful. There are too many options in town to settle for the horrible front desk at this place. The hotel is under construction. There is no information about this on the Hilton Mobile app, which is what we are encouraged to use for everything from making reservations, checking in, checking out, chatting, and getting keys. So we use it religiously and booked this place. We arrive get to the room and it’s nothing but drills and saws. I call down and ask and the front desk says construction is 7am-7pm every day. I said there is no way to know this prior to booking on the app. She says it’s on our website. Ok, but we used the app not the website. She says it’s all over the hotel lobby. Ok, but again when would we see the “courtesy signs” unless we went into the hotel before check in? C’mon! I asked if there was another Hilton property we could move to. She said no we don’t do that and they are fully booked so moving rooms isn’t an option. Based on her answers, we booked a different hotel and then she calls me and says “I had to talk to my general manager but we are doing you a favor and moving you to the first floor. It was so generous” Needless to say I asked how is that helpful when you told me there was nothing you could do, so I booked another location that is now nonrefundable. I honestly didn’t know whether to laugh or cry at this point. I asked if I could speak with the General Manager and of course the person wasn’t there. I told the front desk I realize they are not responsible for the app but they are responsible when customers are not notified of construction and it is a Hilton owned source of information. We moved to a Home2Suites and as usual had the best experience with staff and the environment. That will be on a different review....
