Pacific Nails — Attraction in Forest Grove

A Little Disappointed.. I was a walk in this morning to Pacific Nails, I was referred by a close friend of mine. I have been going to the same nail salon for the last 10years. Unfortunately my nail salons quality has been going down over the last couple years. So my friend told me about Pacific Nails. Excited to try them I pulled into the parking lot 10min before they opened, waited in my car for 5min then went inside, took a seat and waited to be helped. I was approached by Steve who asked if I had an appointment, I let him know that I didn't and that I was a new referred customer. Mind you a ton of people were coming in, a couple walk ins and an appointment, phone was going crazy too. They are busy on a Sunday must be a great place to come! Steve was doing great with helping everyone. Unfortunately I was pushed to the side as I heard him scheduling others who came in after me. I only had 2 and a half hours to get my nails done before I had to be a a bridal party, so I stood up and said "your busy maybe next time". The reason I'm disappointed is that I too am a small business owner, every customer is important and Steve let me walk out with out even trying.. So I still have yet to experience Pacific Nails, you still get 3 stars for everthing I experienced while I was there. I went back to my regular nail salon where they greeted me and I recieved my usual solar nails, deluxe pedicure and of course waxing! Believe it or not they did a good job and everything worked out.

Been here twice for a pedicure. Both times it barely lasted a week. I had two different ladies do them so it's not just one person that doesn't know how to do it. They glob on so much gel top coat that it runs off to the skin. This makes it lift off after a few days. For the same price (which is high) I can travel into Pdx and get a more professional pedicure. I'm also leaving two stars because the lady I had the second time was just plain rude. I told her I had calluses. She said to me "I can see that", in the most unprofessional, snarky, and rude tone. I was floored that she was speaking to me that way. I asked her to treat the calluses in a specific way (not that hard) and see proceeded to brush me off and began talking to her co-worker in Vietnamese about me. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to know they were discussing me because the co-worker looked at me, my feet and back at me. They were both laughing about it. It was so rude and embarrassing. I get that English isn't your first language but don't speak about your customer when I'm right there! I wanted a gel manicure and asked the owner, Steve, I think, who I should go to. He assured me that everyone knew how to do a gel manicure because its a basic manicure. If they cant get a gel pedicure right, I doubt the gel manicure is going to be much better. I'll...

Updated review April 17, 2019 I was contacted by the new owners Mai and Steve to give the salon another try and I was extremely pleased with my pedicure. The owners make you feel very welcome and take time to visit with the customers. Sara did a fantastic job on my pedicure. I like that they use organic products. I will definitely be back.

I will not be coming back after I had the worst shellac manicure ever on Friday, March 16th. I had an appointment at 1:00 and it took the lady an hour and a half to do my nails. She was very slow and not experienced at all with shellac. She told me the other lady would be painting my nails but that didn't happen. She really had no business doing a manicure and my nails looked terrible. The paint had smeared as she put the top coat on then decided to put another coat of polish on them. My nails started chipping the very next day. I have been having shellacs for many years and never have I had them chip that soon. I was tempted to go back to have them fixed but don't ever want to go back to this place. Very...
