Goodwill - Forest Lake — Attraction in Forest Lake

Updated from prior post I must add the staff management at this location is very unfriendly and quite rude to customers and I've been a customer as well as witness to the sneared looks and rude facial expressions from ladies at this location. It is very unsettling, uncomfortable bad business all around. Whatever there reason may be, find employment where your happy almost everyone is hiring reminder your working retail in customer service, Hint one should at least try to be pleasant and approachable. As a business I would assume this is listed as part of job description and IS criteria for interaction with customers at any retail store or upper management should be overseeing staff attitude and interaction as a employee as happy customer better business!

I enjoy shopping in general and what better purchase then getting a great deal! So Goodwill forest lake is a definite stop on my hunt for specific or to browse threw when having a little extra time. The store is very clean and we'll organized. This specific Goodwill location has full shelves with a verity of choices for most items and all departments Clothes,auto,housewares ect. Their prices are on the higher end considering second hand goods and have found items listed above retail cost still available at Wal-Mart or Dollar Store I do look when purchasing specifics but it depends on what your seeking. I always find something that I have wanted or needed on any given day. As I love their home decor /household section. I recently visited and amazed at the selection of Halloween costumes and holiday decorations out taking up half the store so shop early for your costume and treats here you'll save $ and be prepared well in advance to sit back and wait for the leaves to fall....

This Goodwill is right near our house, and I LOVE it. It’s very clean, well-organized, and has good deals. I’ve been to some Goodwills, like the one in Maplewood, that charges insane amounts for things. This one isn’t like that. My complaint with this store has to do with the staff. They can be SO rude. On multiple occasions, even when I’m being as nice as can be, they’ve had such a hostile & negative energy. I just called today to ask questions about what they do with returned items and if they get washed (should be a totally fine question to ask, especially with Covid), and the lady I talked to was so dismissive, unhelpful, and rude. The tone she had with me, when I was being sweet as can be, was unacceptable. I don’t expect top-notch staff, but the managers really shouldn’t allow employees (at least the ones manning the phones!) to treat customers like that when they call/come in. I’m sure it’s just her natural disposition, but still. I did speak to a manager about it, and he was VERY nice and understanding Otherwise,...

This place has really gotten to be gross and disgusting. My husband and I were here yesterday and noticed a woman taking price tags off of items in her cart. My husband commented on this gross behavior, you know stealing from a charity, and she told us to shut up or else she was going to call the cops. Isn't that rich? The altercation became loud and no one from the store offered any assistance or comments - my husband is disabled and was endangered by this crazy woman. To top it all off, when we checked out, the cashier was extremely rude and then had the gall to ask if we wanted to round up our purchase for their back to work programs - how about you protect your shoppers from some of the vermin who "shop" at your store before you start begging for more money on top of your already jacked-up prices. I have spent a lot of money at this location over the past 10-15 years, but you have seen the last of us.
