Starr Park — Attraction in Forest Park

I like it. I don't sit on benches to watch kids play. I go play too: Two sized parks based on ages, scavenger hunt was fun (but the easy one on the blue big kid side should be at the green kiddie section & offer a more challenging one for the big kids)

They don't have many benches facing the playground to watch safely. So bring your own chairs, etc.

2-3 great spots to have picnics & ONLY 1 Pavilion for Larger Reunion type parties.

An emergency contact should be posted as well. Children are SOooo precious, so a number to call for an Eppy Pen, Stranger danger, left behind backpacks like the one I saw, etc etc . .

The park itself is nice for your kids playing having fun but of course with supervision at all times because there are parents that tend to stay in their vehicles while they run and play, but the thing is that some kids start to become aggressive in the playground, they start cursing at other kids and not caring who hears them at all, some even go as far as trying to pick fights with other kids and you don't see the parents around to discipline them or even put a stop to it also I'm sure this a family park and people shouldn't even be allowed to be smoking anything around the park. I believe that Forest Park police should patrol these parks more often or maybe even install more cameras around the park, the bathrooms, even the fields.
