Furniture One — Attraction in Forney

I will NEVER go into this store and I know100% my parents will NEVER GO BACK!! My 78 year old parents went into this establishment in search of a new queen size mattress set for themselves. The store wasn’t busy, and there were two employees my parents saw working that day. One was finishing up with a customer and one was behind a counter doing something. Both looked at my parents as they made their way in, but neither spoke. Them being elderly and my mom post stroke several years ago, it takes them a bit longer to get where they need to be. As they’re making their way to the front, a woman comes thru the door, flies by my parents and asks for the bathroom for her child. The employees tell her and she disappears. Mom and Dad sit down on a lil bench and wait for help. The woman employee finishes with her customer and turns to talk to other employee behind desk. Both available now, yet neither acknowledge my parents. The woman and child emerge and they ask if they can help her and proceed to do so. My parents, being the nice people they are, decide to look around until it’s their turn…again!! In the mean time a couple more customers come in. Each time, the employees acknowledge them and say they’ll be right with them. But parents roamed the ENTIRE store…. Sat back down and waited again… watched two more customers get helped and still NO ACKNOWLEDGEMENT of my parents existence of any kind!!!! Without saying a word, my parents finally just got up and left. I was Furious and still am, really. My first thought was to head straight up there but my sister said posting a review would be better. Plusa review, I wouldn’t land me in jail, so that’s good. This store is NO GOOD!!!

I WOULDN’T RECOMMEND GOING HERE TO MY DOG and I hope everybody else finds another place to shop as well! Furniture One—-Shame on You!...

EDIT: I received a call from Neil, the Manager of the Greenville store before it closed (he is at a different store now) Neil was very helpful and made it right. He scheduled the repair, and it got fixed this morning. I am thankful for Neil and Furniture One for making it right, THANK YOU!!!! My husband and I bought multiple items from Furniture One in 2017-2018. The reason we went back was because we were sold a "lifetime warranty" on the frame and a 1-year warranty on labor and fabric. However, here we are in 2024 trying to utilize this warranty to learn that it is nonexistent. In fact, Furniture One only has the 1-year warranty on labor and fabric and ASHLEY FURNITURE holds the lifetime warranty on the frame (which we can't use since we bought from a retailer). We were completely scammed by the salesperson because we would have not gone back to purchase more items had we known that we were not getting the Lifetime warranty. We bought the 2nd purchase cash and would have gone directly to Ashley since they were actually cheaper. We liked the customer service and figured since we bought there before it only made sense to make the 2nd purchase there as well. WRONG. This was at the Greenville location and not Forney, but they are closed now, and Forney is FO's main store so unfortunately, they are getting the bad review. I'm absolutely disappointed with the original salesperson who looked at us as a commission check and LIED and kept the lie going through the second purchase assuring us that because it was from "Ashley" we would get the lifetime warranty on the frame knowing that's why...

Great customer service and transparency. Buying furniture can be like buying cars- dealing with dreaded salesmen. With that being said, I worked with Brian and he was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and transparent with everything. He was very upfront about shipping delays due to international ports being closed due to the covid pandemic. I wanted furniture that has decent quality and will last at least 6-8 years. He worked really hard to find everything I needed AND fit it into my budget. He went above and beyond to do what he could- he is a magician. Ultimately, the entire staff was genuine and down to earth. Never once did I feel like they were just trying to make a dollar. Financing was a breeze. I’m not easily swayed, but Furniture One has won my vote. They care what goes into your home and have made a lasting impression on me. I will definitely work with them again and send all of my friends and family. I was so pleased with my experience that I furnished THREE completely different rooms with their furniture.
