Ft lauderdale beach — Attraction in Fort Lauderdale

My recent visit to Fort Lauderdale Beach left me thoroughly impressed. This beautiful stretch of sand is not only pristine and clean but also incredibly family-friendly, making it an ideal destination for a relaxing day by the ocean.

I seek the crystal clear waters of the tropics… returning to my home state of Florida is as close as I could get. I suggest ONLY walking the beach in the northern areas near Sunrise and farther north. At certain times of the year there’s a lot of seaweed and sometimes man ‘o war that wash up on the beach. I think the beach disallows dogs but people take them anyway. Watch where you walk. I always take a look at the lifeguard flags, learn what they mean and feel free to ask the nice lifeguards a quick question. The beach at the end of Las Olas attracts some undesirables and the sand itself is known (among locals) to not be the safest. The beach near downtown looks like more of an area to walk the sidewalk and go to restaurants and bars, if that’s your thing. Never go to the beaches at night… they’re the most dangerous place in the city at any time. If you go… go with people and have some safer spot known to others where...

It's the beach! It's beautiful, peaceful and CLEAN!! I could spend hours/day/months on the beach! JUST GO!!! you won't be disappointed. It is such a beautiful beach!
