Tower Park in Ft. Thomas Kentucky is absolutely wonderful. It is always very well maintained, with clean restrooms, well cared for grounds, and the neighborhood is fantastic. The playground is huge, and there are many large covered shelters with plentiful seating. There have play equipment for younger and older children. There are plenty of swings and slides, as well as those spring loaded bouncy rocker animals. Also, there are lots of other activity areas, which include basketball hoops, volleyball, enclosed tennis courts, and a baseball field. Many people walk their dogs here as well. There are trails, and plenty of space for picnics. In the summer, there is an area for concerts, with a large lawn, and also a periodic farmers market. The main strip off of the park has a few bars and cafes, and an ice cream shop, as well as an amazing Chinese place called New Garden which my husband and I have been dining at for 4 years. Overall, this is such a hidden gem for lunch or dinner and a fun day...
Read moreThis park is an excellent area. It’s clean, well-maintained, and offers a wonderful mix of activities. There are beautiful basketball courts, tennis and pickleball courts (currently undergoing renovations August 2025), trails for both walking and mountain biking, baseball fields, indoor facilities, plenty of bathrooms, an amphitheater, and a huge playground for kids. The trails are my favorite part, they have done so much with a relatively small area! Another thing that I love about this park is the amount of activities. They have a farmers market every Wednesday during the summer, they host multiple holiday events, and this summer they have the Kentucky symphony coming twice. If you have kids, this park is the place to be! There are so many friendly people and it’s a very safe environment for kids to run around without having to worry about them going too far off (the playground has a fence around it and there are always tons of parents there). 10/10...
Read moreWe looked up toddler parks near us and it said that Tower Park had a toddler specific park. Upon arrival we only seen basketball court, sand volleyball court, and a tiny park for older kids. When we made it to the side of the park that we wanted the toddler park was torn down. We were really sad and mad because we didn't see any signs or anything online saying the park was being torn down. My kids only enjoyed the sand at the volleyball court. The tiny park was covered in older kids who were not paying any attention to the smaller kids around them. The slides were too large for our kids and their were no baby swings. There were no bathrooms near. The only part we liked is that they had a swing for...
