Unfortunately not a great experience for dinner tonight. Our first impression was “wow, this place looks nice”. After that, it all went down hill. It all begins when you walk in the door with zero direction for first time diners. The young woman at the bar area had a unwelcoming demeanor even after we mentioned it was our first visit. Over half of the tables were marked “reserved at 7pm” which we were fine with since it was 5:45pm. Food and drinks are ordered at the bar and then you’re given a number to display at your table. The menu has limited food choices with a larger selection of beer. It took approximately 25 mins to get our food after ordering. The gentleman that brought our food apologized for the delay and said that they had a lot of food to prep for the event that started at 7pm. I will say that the Ranger Burger was probably one of the best burgers I’ve ever had! My wife had the Frontline Chicken wrap which she described as “nothing special”. The atmosphere was loud due to all the kids playing in the play area in the rear of the dining room. With it being advertised as “family friendly” that was expected but could deter others. Overall it was ok but we probably won’t be back...

We recently hosted a surprise birthday party for my mother at The Post Taphouse and it was absolutely perfect! From start to finish, the experience exceeded our expectations. The staff went above and beyond to help us pull off the surprise smoothly and made sure every detail was handled with care. They were attentive without ever being intrusive, and their warm, friendly energy truly made the night feel special. The atmosphere at The Post Tap House was exactly what we wanted—cozy, welcoming, and fun. The space gave us plenty of room to celebrate while still feeling intimate enough for my mom to be surrounded by all the love and laughter of family and friends. And of course, the drinks and food were fantastic! Everyone raved about the selection, and the quality was top-notch. It really added to the celebration and gave the evening that extra touch of indulgence. Most importantly, my mother was absolutely thrilled. Seeing the look on her face when she walked in was unforgettable. If you’re looking for the perfect place to host a celebration in Northern Kentucky, I can’t recommend The Post Tap House highly enough. They helped us create a night we’ll...

This place is a God send for families! The food is great and the drinks are cold. There is a play area for kids that completely made our night! With two kids, 2 & 3 years old.. I rarely get to eat my meal before it gets cold. But here, I was able to sit near the play area, let the kids play, and have a real conversation with my husband while we had a delicious dinner.

The Post is doing something different and I am 100% here for it! We drove 40 minutes from home to come here because I heard such good things and I think this place is going to be a regular stop for us. What a gem.

If you come, the Philly Philly and fries are a must!

*I have to add: Some other reviews here are shocking. The food is delicious, so you'd be missing out, but if you dont like kids (wow), then dont come here! It's that simple. I hope the owners and staff know that they've made a positive impact on the community by doing something different, and this mom...

I planned our company party with The Post and I cannot sing their praises enough. Brenda, the companies event planner, reached out to me and worked through dates, connected me with catering, called in advanced to check if we would be coming in early to decorate, and allowed us to arrive early to do so! She was EXTREMELY easy to contact at all times! The food was catered from the on-site restaurant collab with The Gruff, it was delcious. The manager of the Gruff in Covington came to set up the catering and left us to our feast! They allowed us space to bring in our own Photo Booth and even offered us a microphone to announce our company superlatives (as ours failed that we bought). Our bartenders Chloe and Kerry, were so attentive. Chloe called me by name the entire night and even went to grab more of my favorite drinks from storage when they ran out upstairs. I cannot recommend this place enough.

YOU GUYS ARE DOING RIGHT!! I wish I had more pictures but we were just too busy having fun. BEST local family friendly spot in the area! GREAT atmosphere for adults and kids. All 3 of my kids walked around tonight (PJ Night: The Grinch Showing) "serving" The Post patrons and they were all so wonderful with them. FIRST place I've been where I felt comfortable enough sitting back and just letting the kids do their thing. Tonight lifted a lot of stress off my shoulders. THANK YOU!!
