Grassroots & Vine — Restaurant in Fort Thomas

Had a fantastic experience with my wife, our son, and his wife at Grassroots and Vine. We sat at an outdoor table, and the staff was sooo attentive! Between us we had cocktails, wine, and a draft beer, and all were wonderful. They have a really nice selection of wine. We shared a charcuterie board that was delicious; the prosciutto especially was buttery and flavorful. The sandwiches and salad were generosity portioned and tasted so fresh! What a nice change of pace boutique eatery! Food is freshly prepared, and it shows by how delicious everything is. I had the street Italian panini. Wonderful food and drink selections to eat in or take out. Desserts are fantastic. This is a really cool concept restaurant. You can grab a bottle of wine with a meat and cheese board to place in your picnic basket for a special time out, or you could sit and dine in for an entirely different but intimate experience. I don't normally leave reviews but this was a little ridiculous not to. I ordered an iced vanilla matcha and it was white-which is new to me -seeing that matcha is green and it tasted basically like vanilla milk. The girl making the drink was new I'm assuming bc she was reading from the book for instructions. I would have preferred she told me she hadn't made the drink before.
