I went to Johnny Apple seed festival today and I had a great experience! I come every year and I always have a really good time! There are so many different vendors! I tried the apple pancake role ups, and they were delicious!!! I love walking around and seeing everyone dressed up in time period costumes! I recommend coming in the morning when it first opens because it can get really hot!! I really enjoyed listening to the music at one of the stages! The antiques are so fun go look at too! You must stop at Johnny appleseed's grave site, of course! Be prepared to walk a lot and wait in lines, depending where you're hoping to get food! Read moreI purchased a qtr canning jar of veg beef soup and it must have just come off the canner...the jar was almost too hot to touch, w/n bags, I carries it by the neck of the jar. When I arrived home, I got a bowl for supper. There wasn't alot of juice, just the filling. The pcs of beef we plenty along w/a variety of veggies. It wasn't spicy, it was just like I like it. I started w/a 1/2 bowl, n end up eating a full bowl also...so I ate the whole qrt. So so good, my compliments To the cook! Read moreI can only spare 2 stars, for the easy Disability parking at FW Turners and the very limited access to the festival along flat paved surfaces my limited mobility can allow me. Unfortunately all the good stuff is on the other side of the park - too far to walk or through rough uneven terrain. The only accommodation the J.A. Festival website suggests is a wheelchair, but if I can barely walk it, how can I use a wheelchair through it? If they would offer some sort of easier access for Disabled with mobility issues, then I would offer more stars. (P.S. Food is still good, if you can get to it, and can stand in...
