The facility itself is a very nice skating rink, and my daughter genuinely enjoys visiting. However, I had a disappointing experience during our most recent visit that I feel needs to be addressed.
As we were leaving, my daughter—who was wearing her own skates—was approached by an employee, an older woman with short hair who appeared to be in her 60s. She confronted us in a loud and disrespectful manner, stating that my daughter could not leave the dome in her skates due to liability concerns. While I understand and respect the policy, I was taken aback by the way it was communicated.
I politely mentioned that her tone was unnecessary, at which point she became even more dismissive, stating, “I’m not speaking to you anyway. If you’re taking it that way, that’s on you.” Being spoken to in such a condescending way in front of my daughter and her friends was incredibly upsetting and unprofessional. There are far more appropriate ways to enforce rules without belittling patrons.
Following the incident, I called to report the behavior, but the person who answered the phone claimed not to know who I was referring to—despite the fact that the employee in question was the only older woman working at the time. I was also denied any information about the staff member or management, which felt evasive and uncooperative.
Unfortunately, based on this experience and similar reports from others in the community, I do not feel comfortable returning. It’s disheartening to see such behavior at a place that once had a strong reputation under its original ownership. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and addresses the issue, as it’s a shame to see such a great facility overshadowed by poor customer service.
I will return to edit my review if I find out the employees name. I’m assuming she is used to and comfortable with speaking to people like that based off this...
Read moreThis place is a freakin joke. Wanted to have a nice father's day with the wife and kids came here and right off the bat we weren't allowed to bring in our own bottled water. They DO NOT maintain the rental skates whatsoever, after 5 pairs of roller blades I finally gave up cause every pair either needed new wheels from being worn down or the entire rail that the wheels are attached to was missing bolts(that's dangerous). Then they were offering an "all you can eat pizza buffet" which you had to ask a staff member to hand you a slice instead of being able to grab it yourself and you can only get one slice at a time...really? They have a ton of rules, for example if you walk out of the building you can't come back in without paying the entrance fee. So because we weren't allowed to bring in our water and because if you walk out of the building you can't get back in without paying the $8 admission I wasn't going to go out to the car to get a drink. So I went to get a fountain pop but I didn't have any more cash only a debit card, well there is a $3 minimum purchase with a card and the drink was $1.75. I know that sounds petti but I was already very irritated...

Lil Jon, good?
NOT AS FAMILY FRIENDLY AS YOU'D THINK!
Me, my girlfriend, and our 4 kids ranging from 10-15 were at this rollerdome from around 7-9pm. This was a night they were doing an all night skate. The DJ turned of a song we had requested a few seconds into it because it wasn't in English (or American was the term he used). The song was DNA by BTS. The song that replaced it was called "shots by lil Jon. It is a catchy song, but very inappropriate for 70% of the skaters there. If you are a concerned parent and care about what kind of content is being pumped into your kids then I'd not take my kids here. Google the lyrics for "shots". When I brought this up with an older fellow I believe was the owner he didn't seem all that concerned. He said we play music like this usually after 9pm. Problem is it wasn't after 9. And even if it was after 9 the same kids were there. We packed up and left. I've never had this problem at "Bells"...
