Posh Nail Lounge — Attraction in Fort Worth

I never write bad reviews but this was a very horrible experience. Stay away. The final product was average at best. I got a pedicure and a gel manicure. What made this horrible was the customer service. I entered as a walk-in and asked for both a pedicure and a gel manicure. They quickly began my pedicure which was going fine aside from the fact that the man doing the pedicure tickled my foot to get my attention (this was a little odd but no big deal). As my pedicure was coming to an end two other ladies walked in they were white and I am not. The staff was much friendlier with them upon greeting them. They were even asked if they’d like something to drink. I was never asked if I’d like something and I had been there quite a while. The place was not busy. It was only me. When the lady came over to do my nails she was being a little rough but no big deal she then asked do u want a fake nail I said yea but a very short one she said ok. She then began to do the manicure. She skipped the fake nail part and began applying the gel top coat. I then said remember I asked for a fake nail. She then sighed and said oh no you didn’t ask for that. I said yes I did but I wasn’t going to argue I said fine whatever. She then says if u want a fake nail you will have to wait because they have an appointment. It did not seem like they had an appointment to me they were treated like a walk in upon arrival. I asked her just do them on my natural nail because I was very irritated at this point. I am not one to always go straight to “racism” but this is what it felt like to me. In words it doesn’t seem that bad but the feeling I had when I left was horrible. I a person of color received sub par service and a white person received exceptional service. I will never be returning and I hope you will also find a different place. Our money is just as green as anyone else’s and there are plenty of places that will...

Edit: Yes I have photos of my nails sets I’ve done with you the last set I’ve done was April 11 my nails have not been able to grow out because of the fact that she did not isolate my cuticles, so the acrylic was stuck on them making it look like I had no growth I was going to remove my nails and I could finally see the growth I’m now going to a different nail salons and decided I should share my experience to inform others . I am not confusing you with any other nail salon.

I hate trying new places but when I started coming here it was great I always got a man and it was fantastic my shape and design had never been better. The price was also great but then the man left and I started bouncing around from the two women in the last couple of times I ended up with the older woman she doesn’t isolate the cuticle so whenever it starts to grow out, it lifts really weird on the cuticle normally I’m a almond girl, but I wanted to try something new I asked her for tapered Square, and she gave me some version of square that made my hand look extra fat and then when I asked her if she could make it slimmer she said it was my hand that was fat. Her nail art is terrible as well so the other woman has had to help her several times with what I’ve asked for . I’ve recently gone to a new place did tapered square medium length and my hand doesn’t look fat I think the woman needs more practice. I also hate that when I’ve booked with the other lady she double booked me with someone else which made me feel like she was rushing my nails . Don’t...

Went there about a week ago because I go get waxed at beauty salon right down the street and I was the first client they had walked in with outgrown acrylics and the lady looked frustrated that she had to take them off I asked her about dip as I never had them done she assured me it was way better than acrylic so I went with it and as you can see in the picture all my nails are cracked like if they had put a glass coating on top and it’s been just one week!
