I arrived upon opening at 6am. There were tons of staff and vendors working to fill the sales floor. I asked an Kroger employee if they were expecting corporate. The young lady stated they were having a grand-reopening.
The store was organized and completely full by 6:30 am. I purchased many items that aren’t available until 11am. There were many items on sale that I took advantage of.
4 stars is due to the employee that made an announcement for staff and customers to move their cars. If you know you’re having an event and want customers to park in a certain area block off the area before the store opens and we start shopping.
WARNING! I saw several cars that had BOOTS on the tire and one car was being towed. It didn’t look like they were parked illegally. I had parked next to one of the cars and looked around to see was I missing something or if it was a sign that said no parking. No violations insight that I noticed. I decided to move my car before I headed inside because I was unsure why this was happening in Kroger parking lot. Note: 3 stars is for the overall store. However, i did want to warn customers about the car boots & towing I witnessed.
2023- I completely understand that many local shops have to charge a substantial amount for their products. I've been looking for a place that serves fresh buttery croissants that are reasonable. I have yet to find a place that isn't ridiculously overpriced. I found myself at Kroger once again. I came across a croissant table that was calling out to me lol. A variety of croissants are on sale this week for $3.99 with card. I purchased a box the other day and Yes, Yes, Yes! I will be loading up all week. Thanks bakery dept. for doing a great job!
2023-Starting FAT TUESDAY off early this year. Decided to finally purchase a Joe's Gambino's King Cake. I actually enjoyed it, but the one's I make are just as good(Proud of Me lol). Be cautions of the tiny baby! I guess they are now letting companies add the baby back in. FYI make sure you consume King Cake before it gets soggy. I purchased the latest date between 5-7 days before expiration. Will cut slices to place in refrigerator for the next 2 days. Any extra will be placed in freezer if I'm not having guess. Tried Pączki polish doughnuts.They are pretty good and big, but I didn't have enough filling in the one I consumed. Was in the store today and on my way out someone in front of me set off the alarm. It caused everyone behind them for their carts to lock up. They have some new system on their wheels that locks up carts i guess to prevent theft. I literally slammed into my cart, caused a huge bruise on my shin that is welting up. In addition to that, since I was using one of the smaller carts, my groceries on the very bottom flew out everywhere. When I asked to speak to a manager to make them aware of the dangerous system they have now implemented, everybody but the manager wanted to know what was going on and no one was actually a manager. A couple of women came up and just were nosy and wanted to know what was happening and when I asked them if they were manager, they were like I am kind of like a manager. No one had any concern just annoyance to have to speak/work with a long time customer. They finally went and got a manager (instead of calling him over the phone the lady SLOWLY walked to the back to get him. So when he finally came up to the front visibly annoyed to be bothered from his break or whatever, i had already been waiting for a while (this is post me veing done with the grocery trip.). When I told Aaron what happened his response was simply “OK”. Literally that is what is said. He sighed and said “OK” and that’s it. Not and I’m so sorry that happened to you, not a “hey, I’ll let my manager know that it caused that issue”. Nothing. I am beyond shocked and upset with their response. I was in physical pain! . An “OK” is not an acceptable response to a situation like this even after i showed him my bruise. I have never seen Aaron, not sure how long he’s been a manager here, but they used to have really nice managers here Until he showed up. I have been shopping at this Kroger for the last 10 years and I’m just appalled by their service today. Imagine if an elderly woman or man was pushing a cart when this happened to them? This a lawsuit waiting to happen.

Read moreSo much of the produce had visible mold. The lettuce and salad kits were almost all brown and wet. The meat was brown. Boxes apon boxes lined the isles of frozen food, trash and products. I’ve worked in hotel management and know for a fact frozen, raw and dairy food cannot sit out like that.I was in the store for at least 35 minutes trying to find something that wasnt gross to cook for Mother’s Day and saw no one was stocking shelves. So many of the isles looked just like this.
