I started ordering from here about a year ago. It’s definitely my favorite pizza of all time, but the prices are quite high. I’m willing to splurge occasionally when the pizza is that good. (Except on the occasions where they reduce the size of the pizza) However, my two major complaints are 1) my husband always gets a salad and every time, the portion is super small. He pays $1.25 extra to add grilled onions and it’s literally one teaspoon of onion; total rip-off for an already overpriced salad. (See photo) For this reason, we don’t eat here very often, and when we do, my husband usually gets food somewhere else 2) Every time I’ve been in here in the past year (with the exception of one time) the staff are jerks. They ignore you until you’ve stood there 5-10 minutes, then when they finally do look at you, they have “F off” written all over their face, like they’d rather be ANYWHERE else than talking to you. The first time I ever received my order and it was incorrect, I told the lady at the counter (kindly. I get it, mistakes happen. No biggie.) and she said “oh……….sorry.” and walked away. No offer to fix it, not even a sincere apology. After that, I decided it wasn’t worth even mentioning when things were wrong. So for this reason, we make it a habit not to dine in, only ordering take-out. So if you’re willing to pay a high price for good pizza TO TAKE HOME and NOT a salad, this is a great place.

My first time coming here. My girl has been here before and told me it was awesome. After a rainy and lazy Sunday afternoon, we got hungry and decided to hit this spot up. I'm glad we did. First off, they have a good draft beer selection. I ordered the Bells Two Hearted IPA....not too hoppy and great taste. My girlfriend wanted something other than beer and ordered the Lavender Grove which was delicious! I got the first sip....yummy!! We ordered the spinach artichoke dip for an appetizer. Very creamy and good flavor. Then, we ordered a large House Special pizza and it was delicious! This thing was loaded with toppings, crispy crust and nice n hot! I was tempted on the meatball hoagie from a Google review picture, but we agreed to split a pizza. Maybe next time.... We ended up taking home the other half of the pizza. It reheats well in the oven. 425F for 10 minutes. The restaurant was clean and so we're the restrooms. That goes a long way with me. I wish I could remember our waitresses name, she was awesome! Short Hispanic lady that knows her job well. I'll definitely be back soon to explore the rest of the menu. If you are looking for great pizza, great beer and drinks or both, this place won't disappoint.

I came with my husband and young son to have a bite to eat. We were greeted upon entering and immediately being told if we could eat on the patio - I was a little hesitant as it's humid & almost 90° to which they said to give them a few minutes to clean a table for us. A few moments later we were seated. We ordered the pretzel bites as an appetizer and for our meal a small mighty meaty & small buffalo chicken with no onions. The appetizer came and unfortunately was mainly raw dough on the inside. Our waitress was great and immediately got us a new order along with a $5 discount for it. Our pizzas came out after about 30 min of waiting which is not a bad wait time. The buffalo pizza though had onions so they got us a replacement without them which extended the wait by about an additional 15 min. The food, once corrected, was great. We asked for our bill to pay and noticed there was a $1.50 charge for ranch which we never got. No biggie and an easy correction 😊 our total bill was about $60, I added a picture of our bill for reference on what we ordered. Overall, I would say 3 stars but our server was absolutely wonderful.

Behold, ye pizza enthusiasts, for I come to you with a tale of gastronomic rapture, an odyssey through the divine realms of flavor and indulgence at the illustrious "Mellow Mushroom" – a pizzeria so ethereal, it could only be the manifestation of culinary providence.

From the very moment I crossed the threshold, the air was saturated with the aromatic incense of divine dough rising. It was as if the heavens themselves had opened their celestial ovens to bless us mere mortals with the essence of pizza perfection. And lo, the menu unfurled like sacred scrolls, revealing a plethora of celestial choices. Yet, one pizza stood out among the pantheon of pies – "The Holy Shitake."

This pizza, my fellow flavor disciples, was a miraculous creation, a heavenly medley of flavors that danced upon the taste buds like angels in gastronomic ecstasy. The crust, a testament to divine craftsmanship, possessed a crispiness akin to the tablets of the Ten Commandments, delivering unto us a sacred covenant of pizza goodness.

But let us delve deeper into the sacred scripture of toppings, particularly those celestial shiitake mushrooms adorning "The Holy Shitake." These mushrooms, plucked from the fertile fields of flavor eternity, were nothing short of manna from the pizza heavens. Each bite felt like a communion with the divine, a sacred sacrament of umami revelation.

As I marveled at the transcendent flavors, my mind wandered to biblical figures and their hypothetical indulgences in the art of smoking. Could it be that Moses, atop Mount Sinai, partook in a bit of smoky wisdom, perhaps pondering the mysteries of the universe while savoring a slice of celestial pizza? And dare I suggest that the Three Wise Men, bearing gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh, may have also exchanged puffs of aromatic enjoyment?

In conclusion, dear culinary disciples, "Mellow Mushroom" is a sacred sanctuary of pizza piety, and "The Holy Shitake" is its divine masterpiece. Prepare thy taste buds for a journey through the promised land of pizza excellence. It's not merely a meal; it's a culinary revelation, a heavenly feast fit for kings and prophets alike. Praise be to "Mellow Mushroom" and the celestial symphony of flavors it bestows upon the...

Looking for a laid back place to hang out? Then this is your place! Full of charm, the Mellow Mushroom is the place to be day or night.

Now i had heard about how great the food is, that everything on the menu is simply fantabulous. Yet the one thing that everyone recommended to try was the whole pretzel with the beer cheese and marinara dipping sauces.

They do not disappoint on those items! The pretzel was huge, still warm upon service. You tear a piece off, dipping first in the beer cheese dip. Oh, now that's heaven! The warm softness of the pretzel and the gooey, perfectly blended beer cheese dip, are to not be denied! But mix both the beer cheese and the marinara on the pretzel? You might not want to order anything else except maybe round 2 of the pretzel and the dips!

Now it was hard tearing myself away from the pretzel. Yet the the whole time i was thoroughly enjoying my pretzel, the aroma of assorted pies filled the air. One can smell pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms floating through the air. Like i said, it was hard tearing myself away from the pretzel but to not order one of their fantastic pies? Well its just unAmerican!

I know, I can hear you. You're probably thinking that you are going to have very little choices to choose from on pies. Well, you would be wrong. There is a wide variety of pies to choose from. Don't like the options avalaible? That's okay! You can build your own with many available options for toppings to choose from including a gluten free crust. Go crazy on the topping combinations and create a pie that you'll truly enjoy!

Now after all that, and you have room, MM offers some really great desserts. But me? Yeah, I'll confess now: I'm a chocoholic. And MM has got me covered on that. They have this triple chocolate brownie that is to die for! That's right, you heard me: TRIPLE CHOCOLATE! It's big, it's gooey, and it has chocolate studded everywhere in the brownie! If you have any left over (I sure didn't), better figure out a way to hide it from everyone!

No matter the time of day, the Mellow Mushroom is a great...

When we first entered, we were greeted then had to wait about 5- 10 minutes for a table. Once seated, we ordered our drinks and appetizer. My cousin had ask about the free pretzel bites that were offered on the app. The server had looked at phone and said that was fine and went to place the order. We waited 15 minutes for the pretzel bites and then the waitress placed them down and left. We had wait 45 minutes to place our pizza order which had a dietary restrictions. We ordered the mighty meaty pizza with non dairy cheese and extra veggies like pineapple, jalapeño, and bell peppers. We had wait 20 minutes for the pizza just for it to be missing the meat the first time and it got sent back for another 20 minutes. The second time it came back the cheese didn't look properly melted. We waited an hour and 30 minutes at this point. When we asked for the check the waitress came back and asked for a code that the offer was suppose have. We were then told that the offer was only for online orders, when we could have been told since the beginning and we would not have ordered it. At this point, we had been patient and understanding but we weren't gonna pay for the pretzels. The waitress went and told the manager. Said manger came up to us to ask for the code with an attitude, just to tell us again that it was for online orders only and she would give it to us this once. I don't know if they forgot to use the nondairy cheese or had not completely cooked the pizza the second time, but I now face food poisoning symptoms and itchiness because of the pizza. I have dairy allergy so that why the non dairy cheese was so important. I would not recommended this place to anyone. Edit: Just to clarify I did not eat the pretzels bites. Those were just for my cousin. The waitress had asked us about keeping parmesan and butter on the crust and we told her no. I have been here before and had not had this problem. And I understand that they were short staff, and we tried to be as compassionate as possible but people that arrived after us were taken care...
