06/07 so many ripped clothes at full price i couldnt believe they got the nerve to sell ripped and peeling off clothes and shoes.some have permanent stain.just plain sad and nasty.looked like someone digged the neiborhood trash.some are beyond repair and simply shouldnt be sold.mainly fast fashion brand still zero premium brand .Goodwill LOST THEIR MIND . Forever 21 target shien wish temu and fast fashion brand priced higher or the same to what they cost new . The lala land of polyester . Most dress were priced 14.99$ to 17.99$ . When did shien become high end đ i was horrified by how things were priced same with cheap lulu and chinese made pleathure cheappo shoes 15$ and up . Its not a thrift store anymore its just A STORE ( squeezing and scalping as much profit as they can) 99$ for a rug u can get nice ones for under 50$ same size brand new on amazon or wayfair . Now i will say the store is new CLEAN, very modern and cool design, easy parking . The cashier was lovely . Everything is well organized by size and section . Its also a lot more well curated on item they pick than most. Some of the fast fashion clothes were still new with tag . If you are looking for deal this isnt the place. During my visit i did not see any " premium" or luxury brand or anything truly valuable in todays market . Was quite disappointed by the lack of well known brand . And at 15$ and up i rather go buy straight from forever 21 or target makes not much sense to shop at goodwill anymore . Its not what they use to be . The store itself design wise / organisation wise is great , the prices are a huge turn off knowing its cheapper new on shien / amazon shipped straight to my houseđ¤Śââď¸ your answer isnt accurate all the goodwill are now sending premium / lury item or anything of value to goodwill auction sale website for an even bigger price tag and profit margin. Its not that people arent donating its that things get selected cheap one with no value go to the "floor" / valuable ones go online . how much do all the goodwill president / excutives make from all that profit ? its not "that sustainable" if prices are higher than retail and clothes keep sitting on shelves.goodwill could be more sustainable by selling more for less.all the clothes r free and donated its not like u guys lose money. Its currently innacessible to the ones...
Read moreThis Goodwill is clean and well-organized, but they seriously need to inspect items more carefully before placing them on the shelves. I bought three items, including a small carry-on suitcase. After paying, I noticed one of the wheels was cracked. It definitely should not have been for sale in that conditionâit was clearly damaged and bound to fall apart.
Since I was still in the store, I immediately showed the issue to the cashier. She was kind and apologetic, saying she hadnât noticed the damage either. However, because the transaction was already completed, she said a manager would need to assist me with the exchange.
Unfortunately, that's where the experience took a turn for the worse. A managerâwhose name I believe was Christineâcame over. Before I could even finish explaining the situation, she cut me off and repeatedly said, âYou already paid, you own it. I canât do anything.â She kept repeating the same phrase without listening to my concerns. When I asked to speak with her supervisor, she claimed she was the highest authority and then walked awayâto play with a customerâs dog that was in line. It was completely unprofessional and dismissive.
I then spoke with another employeeâa young woman who was far more professional, respectful, and compassionate. Although she couldnât override the managerâs decision, she took the time to listen, gave me all the information I asked for, and did her best to help.
In the end, I left the suitcase I had paid full price for in the store and walked out extremely disappointed. The way I was treatedâespecially by someone in a management positionâwas unacceptable. Goodwill needs to improve not only their item inspection but also their customer...
Read moreThis store is just so cute to not visit, looks small from the outside but it actually big on the inside. The choices of clothing is also very large from something new or just donated goods. When it comes to toys or other wares they have a good collection of stuff, and the employees are all so nice, it just a shame how rudely they get treated sometimes, especially those in the cashier area, I believe one of them is name Fernando and the other Ulises, it nice of them to try to help the customer but sometimes the customer is so rude to them, I know it also applies to the other cashiers of the store, but honestly this store is so kind to everyone that it just mess up how everyone is rude to the employees, that just me on a personal level, overall this store is so nice that you should definitely visit them, only thing keeping this from being a five star is that maybe donât be putting out like overly used items for sell like a completely burn out candle or pots and pans having very dark...
