Dutch Bros Coffee — Restaurant in Fountain Valley

I placed a order on the mobile app. My 2nd or 3rd time. I never noticed a pick up time and that was my bad. I placed my order around 645pm and walked up to the window a little after 7. The gent at the window said it won't be ready for another 30mins. I was confused and he showed me the pick up time on the app but said he would make it on the fly. He did but made a med instead of a large. He said he would remake it and he disappeared. I waited and watched people order at the window and get their drinks before me. I now get that there are pick up times. I should have just gone through the drive thru but again wasn't aware of the pick up time. And if you're going to remake my drink, don't tell me you will and then disappear. I asked a different young lady if my drink was ready and she re explained butthey were so busy I didn't get a chance to tell her it was supposed to be remade. I go back to my car and wait the remaining 15 mins because it's cold. I walk up to the window a 3rd time at 729 and ask if it's ready and a different employee again explained. I tell her I know but I wasn't aware of that. At this point I'm frustrated because employees have seen me standing there for a while and never asked me hey what's up or are you waiting for an order. Again I get I messed up but I didn't know and wished someone would have been nice about it. As I waited for my drink the last time, a gent ordered at the window then said I placed another order. A different girl said ouh it will take a while but I will let them know. So he can place a mobile order and get his drinks done right away but I have been waiting, several employees see me waiting, I've asked kilndly but...

I had to write this immediately before I forgot. The team at this location makes me nostalgic, like I were frequenting a Portland or Vegas location 🥹

I mobile ordered both my drinks, and the second one I tried my best to replicate a drink that had just ended with their summer promotion. Since I had put in my second drink order separately, I went to the window to ask if it was at all possible to get that exact recipe (it's impossible to make it in the Build your own Shake, as the Irish cream flavor is only a drop down option for the coffee based drinks ¯⁠\⁠⁠(⁠ツ⁠)⁠⁠/⁠¯ and only on one secret menu combo for shakes which is what I initially put in the off chance it couldn't be done or out of certain ingredients etc) Nope! The guy who I spoke with said "I got you" and told the Broista making it what I had wanted to get. The sweet girl who called my order for pick up seemed (imo) happy to have been able to have helped with my request. I was so dang excited, I was dreading not being able to have been able to try it as intended (ie not my hodge podge order attempt). Soon as I saw the special soft top I was ECSTATIC!

I've been coming here since opening day, the drinks are made decent half the time other half I have to go get them remade at the other stand up the street. Customer service wise it's pretty good, I have had about 4 times where it didn't seem like the broista was happy to be there, but my most recent trip Ali was awesome! He made it feel like how dutch use to be in the early 2000s took his time asking me how I was etc even though the line was long we still moved fast. He definitely embodies the Dutch spirit! I also do want to say that when I order my deconstructed drinks, I keep having to clarify that the float and syrup in separate cups, which I was told, is standard. However, there have been about 3 times in the last month that it wasnt. Sometimes I'm in a hurry and I can't check everything as I'm usually ordering 5 plus drinks, so when I get home and the float is mixed with the syrup, which is nasty for the dinosaur egg since its not for use till the next day. If we are clarifying on our order separate cups, I'm kind of hoping that you would follow through. That way at the window we don't get eye rolls when we have to correct them and they're handing as...
