I am so happy to have found this place!!! My friend and I wanted to get breakfast on a Sunday morning and found this charming diner that conveniently opens at 7 AM. It doesn't look like much on the outside, but once you step in, it feels like you're instantly being transported back in time. Right off the bat, I loved the atmosphere of the place. Rainbow Christmas lights, cozy tan booths, and genuine and warm staff -- I felt like I was a character in a 90's movie. Tatiana, our waitress, was friendly, sweet, and efficient. A man named Carlos also approached our table and asked if we needed anything. I could tell from the relaxed vibe of the restaurant and the cheerful demeanor of the staff that the people that work here are authentically happy, which was so heartwarming to see. I ordered the Italian omelette with salad ($1 upcharge) and buttered wheat bread and my friend ordered the San Francisco breakfast option with a biscuit with gravy, plus coffee. We were pleasantly surprised by how soft and fluffy the biscuits were (not dense or hard) and impressed by how good they tasted with the thick, yet light-tasting gravy. My friend said my omelette tasted like chicken parmigiana ("It's delicious!" is what the description on the menu said). I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone for its comfortable vibes and wonderfully caring and...

Being a senior citizen this is the type of restaurant that my wife and I refer to as a "coffee shop." But it is a full-service restaurants serving breakfast lunch and dinner.
I had breakfast at the counter alone today and from the time I sat down until I had my order in front of me was about 5 minutes. Coffee was served in under a minute.
I had bacon eggs fruit and sourdough toast. The 4 strips of bacon were crisp my scrambled eggs were plenty of whole and the fruit was a nice selection of watermelon honeydew melon and bananas. The coffee was very good and my cup was refilled every few minutes.
I think most of the servers have been there for years. They know what they're doing and they know what their customers want and they deliver it every time.
Today being Memorial Day the normal breakfast specials were not available but even so my complete breakfast was about $13. On a weekday it would be about 7 Bucks.

Read moreI’ve been driving past Magnolia Cafe for years and never thought about stopping there. I had been craving a good ol’ American-Style cafe breakfast like I used to get back in the 60’s and 70’s at establishments like Huf’s Hut, Park Pantry, Russell’s and Fidler’s Three…sadly, all gone now. So last week we stopped for a late breakfast and upon entering, immediately felt that good vive I used to get upon entering the aforementioned cafes of yesteryear. We were immediately greeted with a friendly smile from our server, Patricia. To my surprise, the menu included my all-time favorites; Patty Melts, Chicken Fried Steak and Eggs with Mash Potatoes and Gravy but most important to me, Grits! The prices for all items were very reasonable, including the big NY Steak and Eggs. Atmosphere was warm and friendly, the food was fantastic and the service superb…never had to request a warm-up for my coffee. I was in breakfast heaven so I will definitely be returning at least once a week for breakfast and also to try...
