Fountain Mesa Park — Attraction in Fountain

It’s overall a cool park equipped with a skate park and two different playgrounds, one for older kids and one for little ones. While we’re not particularly fond of the little kid playground because they put the sandbox right underneath the playground itself as the safety bedding which made it icky to use when the weather isn’t particularly dry, the adult kid playground was a great alternative.

As mentioned before, they have a skate park around that I’ve seen kids use for bike tricks 🚲 and they also have a picnic area that’s covered with several benches in it, and of course they also got a seasonal bathroom. Granddaughter likes it since it was upgraded. Would be a huge improvement if Fountain PD could patrol a little more often. I think it would decrease vandalism, foul language from teens and further destruction of the play equipment. Hard to get to use it with older kids...
