So the furnace looks amazing. There is parking and a nice easy river walk trail right there. However the furnace itself is across the river on private property and unfortunately is in accessable. Which quite frankly stinks because it's so awesome looking really wish could get up close.

This is a neat piece of history with plenty of reading material around the park so you can learn some fun facts. It's a shame the building is on private property, it would be cool if you could get a closer look

Interesting bit of history. Unfortunately you can't actually get to the furnace -- it's on private land. Informative displays, although a tad facts & dates centric. Nice trail for walking along the river.

I only stopped by to take some pictures but wow I have to say. Very beautiful place. Only I got out of the car we were driving to get lunch and we drove by this place and I asked my wife to stop real quick so I can get out and snap a couple pictures. A lot of old items and descriptions on where they came from. Very historic. I wish I had more time to stay and walk around this beautiful place. I can only image what the rest of the place looks like when what I saw was nothing less then amazing. If your in the area stop by and check it out. Take a walk through the trails they have. This is on my list time go back to soon and spent time walking around and looking at the...

The only surviving blast furnace in New Hampshire. In a park like setting with the water babbling and an original piece of iron bridge with a wooden foot path bridge also, it's hard to imagine the furnace once contained a roaring fire that would burn continuously for 4...
