Marimo Dance Studio — Local services in Franconia

I cannot say ENOUGH good things about Marimo Dance Studio and Angie :) I got married June 2023 and reached out to Angie the January prior to see if she offered any private lessons/choreography for a potential personalized father-daughter dance. Though it wasn’t exactly a project she had taken on before, she did not hesitate to take on the challenge and work with my dad and I for 4 months leading up to my wedding. She crafted the most perfect routine and taught us step by step. If there is anybody who can loosen up a father and daughter who—one—do not dance together (lol) and—two—are not necessarily comfortable performing in front of others (especially dancing) it is Angie. She has this way of making you calm and confident and is truly one of the kindest people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. I really do wish I could turn back time and learn the dance with my dad and her all over again. There really is something for everyone at Marimo and Angie is someone for everyone :) If you are thinking of taking a new class that has to do with moving your body in some way, please do yourself a favor and sign up at Marimo. OR if you are looking for private lessons or a choreographed dance, there is nobody else I would recommend. I recently hosted my daughter's 6th birthday party at Marimo Dance Studio, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience! Angie, the owner, was amazing from start to finish. She made the planning process easy and stress-free, ensuring that every detail was taken care of. The kids had a blast with dance activities and arts/crafts. I love this place! I do yoga and line dancing once a week as often as my schedule allows. Every class I go to is always fun and never too serious. I leave yoga feeling relaxed and calm, and I leave line dancing feeling like I just had a workout while learning a fun new dance. Angie is a great teacher, she is patient, kind and always fun.
