This place is a joke worst customer service I've ever experienced. Found a huge piece of hair in my food, and instead of just refunding me my entire order since my girlfriend and I didn't take one bite because we were so disgusted, they decided only refunding one sandwich would be appropriate. And the "manager" had the balls to ask me what kind of hair I found in my food instead of just apologizing and refunding my entire order, I spent over $30 on a sandwich with hair in it, another sandwich that was awful and didn't get touched due to the hair found in my other food, and am awful "coffee" that was nothing close to what I ordered. Oh, and it was a fat eye lash in my food for anyone sticking sround to find out, which clearly wasn't enough hair points to earn a full refund, since they only refunded me a whopping $8.98. Coming from someone that works in the industry, the lack of professionalism was alarming, it truly felt like there was nobody in that building that knew what they were doing, or even knew how to at least show some decent customer service. 0 stars. Wouldn't even consider a coffee from here cus they couldn't even make that correctly either. Asked for a hazelnut iced coffee and they gave me chocolate milk. Should've just waited the hour and half for Polly's,...
Read moreTldr: Delicious breakfast, friendly staff, spotless café! Best bagel I’ve had in New England, fluffy pancakes with real maple syrup, and fresh, filling burritos. Relaxed vibe, quick service, and super clean—will definitely be back! Will recommend to everyone heading this direction from our Lodge (The Woodshed Lodge) in Jay, VT!
Long version: Super cute café with delicious breakfast!
My boyfriend had a sausage, egg, and cheese breakfast burrito that was very filling and tasty, plus a two-stack of fluffy pancakes with real maple syrup.
I had two eggs, a side of bacon, and an everything bagel—and that bagel was absolutely delicious. Hands down the best bagel I’ve had in New England so far!
The staff were super friendly, and the atmosphere was chill and relaxing. Music was playing in the background at just the right volume—easy to have a conversation without shouting. Everything was very clean, from the restrooms to the tables and front counter.
We arrived at 9:30 on a weekday morning and it wasn’t busy—just one person ahead of us. Our food was made fresh and ready in under 15 minutes.
We’ll definitely be back the next time we’re passing...
Read moreThe place wreaked of restaurant exhaust when I went inside. The smell of it was thick in the air, almost overwhelming. If I'd stay'd there a half-hour longer the smell would have been in my clothes and on my skin. I ordered a large hot chai and a sandwich. The sandwich was decent-enough, no complaints there. The hot chai, however - WOW - that chai was hot! I couldn't take a sip! I could hardly pick-up the cup it was so hot! The cup needed an insulating sleeve to make it easier to hold the cup and prevent burns. The staff were friendly-enough, but they were shorthanded and looked not too happy. Customers had to wait too long for their food and the restaurant wasn't busy. The tables by the windows were unoccupied, but needed to be cleaned. Last but not least there was loud, fast-paced music being playing throughout the restaurant. It did not make for a relaxing atmosphere what-so-ever. I didn't enjoy my visit and probably won't...
