Suydam Farms — Attraction in Franklin Township

The minute we toured / walked through Suydam Farms in the Summer of 2021, we knew it was where we wanted to get married. No question, it fit everything we were looking for. Beautiful, open space with plenty of room to wander/admire nature and animals. The greenhouse was bright and beautiful, a space that speaks for itself even with minimal decor. Between our first visit and our wedding day, we were able to admire the farm in almost every season: the heat of Summer, the crisp Fall air, and the tail-end chill of Winter. We knew the risk of picking a date in April; the weather would not be quite consistent enough to tell what NJ season we would be in. However, we had peace of mind the entire time. Our sunshine-plan for getting married looking over the island and our rain-plan for the breezeway barn were both ideas we were thrilled with.

The April weather was exactly that: unexpected! We had the first big rain (very good luck, in our opinion) of the year but had nothing but smiles on our faces. Nicole and her staff were absolutely incredible. They constantly ensured that we were happy, collaborated with our vendors/pivoted plans where needed throughout the whole process, kept our friends and families safe & dry…it was nothing short of the most amazing day of our lives. Nature takes its course but when you are getting married on a farm full of wonderful people who very much know what to do, you can ensure that your day will be perfect for you.

I had my wedding in the Greenhouse at Suydam's Farms in May 2023. I cannot put into words how absolutely perfect this venue was for us. The Greenhouse is such an extraordinary structure as is, but when you add your own touches it really becomes so special. We also had access to the area around the greenhouse as well and our guest loved spending time there. We rented out an ice cream truck, and we really tried to utilize all the space they provided. The parking lot is pretty spacious, and we did hire our own valet to help our guest. We worked with Nicole and she was such a gem and extremely helpful in answering questions and throughout the whole process. I would recommend having an event here. Again an absolute beauty! Suydam Farms is the perfect place to stop by on weekends!! All are welcome and encouraged to walk around and visit the animals and to enjoy the peaceful serenity of their beautiful farm! The market is awesome! Great selection of farm fresh produce, meat, eggs, baked goods, and a wide variety of delicious treats!! Not to mention the gorgeous hanging flower baskets and every plant you need to start your vegetable or flower gardens! Plus - the staff there is wonderful!!!
