Well Well Well posting a review after a long time ordering from TiffinMom since last almost a year now. They Say i m a part 100+ fortune members for them. That means I have ordered 100+ tiffins (Should be even 150)
I do want to say your customer service has always been top notch, so I appreciate everything that you guys do. As in 99% percent I haven't faced any issues. But whenever I faced, you guys are ready to help immediately. And it's been so convenient to discuss it as you guys are almost everywhere listening very patiently be it on website chat , WhatsApp, Text message, emails. The least if i don't do anything i get a feedback call from your side. I must Say quality of food and maintaining that on consistent basis is your top notch priority which you will be doing it. And that is my NEED has i never asked for a REFUND/ FREE FOOD or posted a review till now as my concerns were always taken care off. I don't know why but people should understand the same. It's a tiffin service which is a need rather than anything else and I am sure all the other who are in need have never posted here. I know you guys have 1000+ of those 100+ fortune members. (I literally started laughing when I saw few recent reviews. Ordering just 1-2 times and judging your service. Asking for refunds. That shows what they are actually) And even though I understand there can be times when things don’t go a certain way since you’re running a business, I still feel that you need to be informed of anything that does go wrong. Conclusion : If I would have cooked myself through these entire 1+ year i would have certainly made more mistakes myself so looking at that part you guys are excellent. We tried their food a couple of times, first time food was good. After which each time we ordered they failed to deliver the right quality. DISGUSTING VEGETABLES, FULL OF OIL, WATERED DOWN AND worst part they’re liars.
They delivered the wrong order over 4 weeks ago and we were told me KUSHAL (who apparently is the only person who answers the phone or online messages) that we will be refunded $74.00 for the weekly Tiffin back. Despite admitting to their mistake and confirming that it will be refunded nothing has come through. It’s been over 4 weeks and NO REFUND.
Today, they delivered the WRONG order - we ordered for A Chinese dish and they sent us a random Gobi Pepper fry AND THE WORST PART IS THEY ARE LYING THAT TRIED TO CALL US TO NOTIFY US OF THE CHANGE. We didn’t get any call. We asked for proof of the call but all we got was defensive responses.
I mean, if you’re running a business, run run it with dignity and integrity. Despite all the mess ups from their side we have tried to support them by reordering but now it’s beyond our tolerance.
It’s extremely disappointing what you guys are doing and how you operate despite all the competition for all the Indian food places in New Jersey.

Read moreFor the cost of the food, the quality and quantity is not on par. The quantity is like lunch size and the curries are diluted. so its not enough for a family of 4(2 Adults+ 2 kids). The quality is not on par because its not home made but rather restaurant made. Its better to get take out of regular restaurant size. Any items other than 3 curries and 10 rotis are charged extra. There is an internet convenience fee that is charged apart from food cost and tax. During covid times while online ordering is prevalent, charging an internet convenience fee is not good for business, I would say.
Update: This is most definitely not a fake review. I have ordered Punjabi food from you and my review is based on that order. If the curries were not watery/diluted and the quantity was not small size, I would have given a 5 star. I see other reviews about the same issue. If its a repeat concern from other customers, its high time you address the concerns.
P.S: My education is not in question here. Please be humble to a customer with genuine concern. It doesnt look good for your business to be rude to customers with a genuine concern. Probably if I had attached photos of my order it would have been more helpful...
