Ukrainian Cultural Center — Attraction in Franklin Township

Good venue with “food” which is helpful for the all day events. The bathrooms are well stocked and clean, the space is large and I like that they have tables in the back to eat said “food”. The variety in the cafeteria is pretty big in the packaged food classification but the hot food? Chicken fingers, meatballs, sandwiches, hot dogs, pierogies and fries. The problem with the food is that the fries are ice cold because laziness makes them cook entire baskets and leave them hanging over the grease until they’re ready for them and there’s ZERO salt which makes them utterly bland. The cheese sauce to make them cheese fries was also flavorless. The hot dogs were in the water so long they were flavorless, the kraut crusty and flavorless. The chicken fingers were actually very good. The pierogies were dry and not cooked with onions. They’re good in the condiments. The lady at the register, clearly in charge, is passive aggressively rude, joking about how they hate special requests but not really. The other lady didn’t speak English well but smiled a lot. I would say food is better earlier but this isn’t my first time here. It was meh last time too and if I’m going to be at a venue 12 hrs I’d appreciate decent food. I went here to attend my granddaughter dance competition. This place is well run. Friendly staff. Nice and clean....
