Dear 6Ave,
I am writing to formally demand resolution regarding my Amazon order placed with your company. I purchased a Canon PowerShot G7 X Mark III bundle as specifically advertised and described in your listing. Instead, I received a Canon G7 X Mark II – a materially different, outdated, and nonconforming product. The item also showed signs of prior use, contradicting the guarantee of a new product.
This substitution is not a minor discrepancy. The Mark III model offers upgraded processing power, 4K video capability, and wireless features absent from the Mark II. Shipping a different, used model constitutes misrepresentation, false advertising, and a material breach of contract under the Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) §2-601, which requires that goods conform to the exact terms of the contract.
I acted in good faith and promptly returned the incorrect product at my own expense, paying $17 in shipping. Tracking confirms that you received the return. As of today, however, I have neither received the correct Canon G7 X Mark III bundle nor been refunded. This means your company currently holds both my funds and the merchandise, which amounts to unjust enrichment.
To resolve this matter, I demand that you immediately: Ship the correct Canon PowerShot G7 X Mark III bundle, brand new as advertised, OR Return my full purchase price along with the $17 return shipping reimbursement.
Failure to resolve this promptly will leave me with no choice but to escalate through Amazon’s A-to-Z Guarantee program, file complaints with the Federal Trade Commission and state consumer protection agencies, and consider pursuing legal remedies.
I urge your company to honor the original contract in good faith and avoid further escalation. Please confirm within 7 business days whether you will ship the correct product or issue the refund and shipping...
Read moreFor what it’s worth, this is an honest review. I have bought 2 Sony cameras from 6th Ave a year apart. Got an A7 III last year and upgraded to the A7R IV this week. I’m not sure where all the negative reviews are coming from and to be fair I can imagine some are true. So instead I will only focus on my experience. They ship items very fast and include two day express delivery at no additional cost. Considering I already saved over $600 on the A7R IV over all the big brand stores I was honestly expecting to get a lightly used or international model. I can confirm that both cameras arrived brand new and in original box and packaging. I want the extra step by confirming the shutter count on both cameras and it confirmed being new. The only negative I would give is regarding the shipping restriction. Since the items are of high value they do need to be signed for. That part I completely understand and agree with. However, they do ship with specific instructions that prevent the shipment from being picked up at your local UPS or FedEx store. In other words, on both occasions I had to take time off of work to accept delivery. Other than that inconvenience I am very happy with doing business and look forward to purchasing...

Purchased a new Canon EOS R6 and one of the dual slots did not work. As it had less than 100 actuations, I was surprised that this was an issue. I've used Canon products for over a decade and I know how equipment should work. Called "Riley" (if that's even her real name) and she said that they don't have warranty and that Canon has coverage. So I contacted Canon and they got me setup for repair, but when they got the camera body, they said that it was not covered for warranty. I called back to 6Ave and then somehow now, I have in-house warranty and they could fix it between 6-8 weeks; that's two months of not having a $2K camera body! I requested if they can just pay the $300 labor fee Canon was quoting me, but they declined.
Overall, I'm not surprised after experiencing this. Just look at all their negative reviews through the years. Do not buy their products as they may be gray market and not covered under warranty (mine was not covered under Canon's warranty). Sure, you may save $200-$300 compared to other sites, it's more headache than...
