Drury Plaza Hotel Nashville Franklin — Attraction in Franklin

Outstanding! The best long stay I've ever had in a hotel. We were treated like family from many of the staff members. The room smelled good, and it was very thoroughly cleaned by Alma. She works so hard to make sure the rooms are cleaned and well taken care of. In the morning, we had a nice breakfast with pancakes!! We loved Tuesdays and Thursdays, since they had the cheesy scrambled eggs with bacon! Aby did a great job making sure that everything was in order. Mr. Tim from the breakfast staff always made sure the tables were clean and my kiddos loved talking to him everyday. He was so kind! We also enjoyed the popcorn 🍿 in the evenings. The daily dinner had some good options, we really enjoyed the nachos and the chili. Those were our favorite! Judith was so kind! She felt like family to me and my kiddos. She took care of my daughter when she was sick and that meant so much. She was always so helpful and accommodating, especially since I was alone with the kids most of the time. She's so hardworking, and because of her, I felt at home and welcomed since the first days. We stayed for over a month, and I miss it already. The pool was clean, the hotel was very nicely updated.

Some areas of improvement: Food: Change the meatballs for something else. We couldn't eat them anymore. They also didn't look very appealing.

Pets: The very first day I arrived someone had their dog in the dinning area and my throat was swollen and it burner. I had an allergic reaction. I avoided dogs and cats as much as I could staying there, not just because of my allergies and my son's, but because my daughter is afraid of pets. It would be nice to have a sign or 2 that mentions that Pets are not allowed in the dinning area. And make sure that there are some pet free rooms just case.

I chose the Drury Plaza Hotel because it was convenient to Interstate 65 and to several locations that I wanted to visit while in Franklin. This is a large, will maintained hotel with first-rate staff and amenities. The front desk was adequately staffed to handle the large influx of guests. Even though several guests were checking in when I arrived, I was immediately greeted and in no time at all was in my large, well-attended room. My king room was larger than the standard hotel room and I in no way felt cramped. My bed was comfortable and well made, which afforded me a great night’s sleep. The bathroom was also larger than average and featured a walk-in shower. The free Wi-Fi was strong, quick, dependable and worked well during my entire stay. This hotel is very popular and features a large dining area for their breakfast and their evening “kickback.” Breakfast features fresh eggs, a variety of meat, potatoes, gravy and the usual cereals, pastries, juices and coffee. The breakfast staff works very hard to ensure that the breakfast items are available during the advertised hours. In the evenings Drury Hotels feature something called a “Kickback.” The “Kickback” features complimentary food for hotel guests. Depending on the night the kickback features a small menu of rotating self-serve food. The food is quite good and features complimentary adult beverages from the bar. The breakfast and kickback are great amenities and something that I as well as most guest enjoyed. This hotel also features a very large, well-lit parking area that can accommodate passenger cars and large tour buses. With everything this hotel has to offer, the highlight of my stay was the exceptional staff. From the front desk staff to the breakfast and “Kickback” staff to housekeeping, I was always greeted with a smile. The employees take ownership of this hotel and go out of their way to ensure that every guest has an exceptional stay. I could not have asked for a better stay.
