Willowdale Park — Attraction in Frederick

Pros: A few covered picnic tables, small stream running parallel to the park, decent playground, serene for the most part, lots of mature trees, space to run around and/or ride bikes. Cons: No official park parking, litter, drug paraphernalia right on walkway, visible empty liquor bottles, and neighborhood feels sketchy. Not a relaxing place for parents as "interesting" people kept walking through which increased my hypervigilence and paronia.

The park is at first a wonderful site in such a poor and impoverished area.
