FOILED. Hair Salon — Attraction in Freeport

Roughly 2 months ago now I went in for a root touch up here, I was very specific that the blonde in my Ombre not be discolored because it had previously been colored matched to my extensions. On my color match, ombre transition and hair extensions I spent upwards of $500 to achieve this (not at this location). After my services here of roughly $175, my blonde hair was changed, no longer matching my extensions, I reached out and then they asked me to pay more money for another service and only to be ghosted after I explained the situation in a friendly manor to have my hair corrected. Throughout the inconveniences of money spent and not able to wear my extensions and Without an apology or response I’m just disappointed that I chose to give my business to this place. Will never return...

Overall, the experience was good. People are nice and the salon is well maintained.

I’m giving 2 stars because there was too much inconvenience for the price. I paid around $295 for color and cut. We did the roots dark and used my already blonde-ish layers for dimension. This is charged as all over color and foiling which seemed steep given we didn’t do any blonding. This is fine, hair salons can vary in price, we all know that. BUT THEN my neck started itching on the way to my next destination and I realized the last layer of dye wasn’t washed out of my hair. I had to go home and wash my hair. I also blew this off because everyone makes errors. BUT YET AGAIN, I found a spot in my hair that wasn’t completely dyed.

I started going Gabby for haircuts in 2020. She made me feel comfortable and confident even though i hadn’t had a haircut for a year. While some hair stylists would talk about how I had so much hair and it took so long to cut, Gabby would constantly comment on how beautiful my hair was. The next year I followed Gabby to Freeport and requested she color my hair for the first time in my life. She did such an amazing job making it natural and worked with me to create something super low maintenance. It grows out naturally and I only need to see her once or twice a year. Since then I have seen multiple stylists at Foiled and always been happy with the results. I will keep going back to Foiled because of the quality stylists but also the friends I’ve made through...
