Junior's Car Stereo | JCS — Attraction in Fremont

Supporting local businesses is key to growing our communities. That being said, we recommend Centerville based Junior's Car Stereo. The photos are from my 2011 Nissan 370Z Touring that was rescued by Junior and his design and installation teams. For this project, we needed a complete removal of the previous unit, broken items and most importantly the wiring. The previous installation was an unmitigated disaster. Broken components, bare wires, incorrect wiring, which led to my defroster dial and mirror compass not functioning. In addition, the equalizer and speaker configuration weren't working, and the system was underpowered. UGH! Junior's staff went to work and started by doing a complete demo of the system from cradle to grave. Once that was completed, they started the rebuilding of my stereo system, piece by piece. They even designed a cool, red "Z logo" cover (see hatch pic)! When Junior called me to pick up my Z I was excited to come to his shop, but I was floored after he walked me through what had been done. The system looked fabulous, but the sound knocked me out. No distortion at all, regardless of the volume, base, treble of music genre. The cost of this "Phoenix" or rising from the ashes was fair and to me worth it at any cost. I’ve had 2 wonderful experiences at Junior’s Car Stereo next to the Fremont Train station. The most recently was the installation of my dash cam that I purchased from Garmin. They did a fantastic job with the installation of the camera and the “Park Mode”. However, the Park Mode was not working properly. They modified the wiring to get it correct and it turned out NOT to be their wiring, but a defective dash cam I purchased directly from Garmin. Once Garmin sent me a new dash cam everything worked exactly as it was supposed to. 5 star + for their work and professionalism.

2nd experience was for a radio in a Honda that started to come on (drained the battery) when the car was not running. They explained they seen other Honda’s do this before and I thought a new radio would resolve this. They could have sold me a radio but said it would continue to do that without some major expense to remove the dash to take care of the core issue. I did not want to put that kind of money into that car. Again, being honest and professional got me to come back and will refer others to their shop.

I wish I could give this place more than five stars. Outstanding customer service, and this is very important constant quality check during installs. It was amazing when I saw this, another set of eyes on the work just like a auditing firm. This multiple person check is awesome, other shops should take notes. There are shops out there that are cheap, make you a deal, do sloppy work, rip you off, not honor warranties and even make you pay upfront before the work is done, those days are over. Junior’s team will knock it out of the park and has raised the bar in the car audio game. You could take your chances, go somewhere else and roll the dice but it’s a bad idea, It will come at a cost $$$$$ I know. If you want your system done right the first time, I’m telling you all this is the Rockstar of the Bay Area compared to other shops. You love your music, but after going to Junior’s, you’ll have a big smile on your face and you will take the long way home.
