We bought a Whirlpool (wrs588fihw) side by side refrigerator in May. Due to wanting color white, it had to be ordered. After doing much on line research I found the model I wanted. Ventura's price was the same as big box store SALE price. Janie was very helpful with our purchase. The extended warranty was less cost for same period of coverage than Best Buy. We got the refrigerator in July after about a 2 months wait. The delivery persons were great and careful with the delivery and installation. I do wish I had tested the doors and opened them at the time of installation. The refrigerator door SQUEAKED big time. My 12 year old Kenmore refrigerator never did that. I contacted Janie immediately. She finally got someone out today. Thankfully it was just lubrication missing at the bottom hinge. Now my doors are silent. This unit is roomy with more lighting inside. It has nice features although I miss a few features the old one had. The ice cubes are about an inch per side so I rarely will used crushed ice. The past main issue with wires breaking at bottom corner of freezer door causing the ice machine to stop working has been resolved by Whirlpool. I was a little worried about that with this new unit. Read moreBought what I thought was a new maytag washing machine, 16 months later I found out through maytag that I had bought a used maytag washer machine. The machine had a service record in 2 different states and a service record in Canada and now the machine is locked in thr lock position and will not allow thr machine to turn on. I confronted Ventura about my finding and ask for my $519 dollars back. They refuse to give me my money back. But would give me a different washer machine or have mine repaired. Very shameful for a company to try and make the customer feel at fault for there wrong doings, instead of accepting responsibility by placing the customer first and doing any and everthing to have a happy customer in the field promoting your company instead of having a disgruntle customer telling people to stay as far away as possible from Ventura TV and Appliances. Lowes, Home Depot, Sears, you name it would not do this to there customers. Specially knowing with documentation that they sold a used appliance as new. Not Ventura. Read moreNEVER NEVER NEVER get a frigerator especially a FRIGIDAIRE fridge from this store. I got the fridge delivered on early September of 2023. It was a brand new out of the box, but few weeks later it started to make really loud noises and two days later it has no cold air. I had to trash ALL my food :(. The store did send a technician very quickly, but the night before I unplugged it and the next morning I plugged it in and it was working fine again, so the technician said he cannot do anything since he can’t see the issue. Mid November 2023, the fridge made loud noises again and shortly two days later it had no cold air. AGAIN, I had to trash all my food (see pictures) :(. It was a holiday weekend, so I didn’t get a phone call back until early Monday Morning. The rep was great trying to help me. As of today 11/20/23 and close to Thanksgiving, I don’t have a working fridge. I’m in my early fifty, and I have NEVER had this horrendous experienced with other fridgerators.
