La Estrella Bakery — Restaurant in Fresno

Let me make this short & sweet. Came here a little after 830, they had their doors locked & were cleaning. But I had called before to confirm that they close at 9. There were a few customers outside with me when an older man had come up to say that they were closed. As soon as I asked why they were closed when their sign & google says 9, not to mention their employee had told me the same thing he closed the door in my face & walked away. He just ignored us & pretended we werent there. Honestly so rude & disrespectful. Im honestly so hurt that I cried in my car. I will be calling tomorrow to talk to management. Hurts so much because I always order my cakes here, but how could they treat another human like that. Para los que no hablan ingles, la panaderia no ceran a las 9, ceran a las 830. Me trataron tan mal cuando pregunte porque estaban cerando temprano quando dicen que ceran a las 9 que asta me cero la puerta en la cara. Me senti tan mal que asta llore en mi caro. This panaderia used to be really good, but it seems as though the quality has gone down, like they are using cheap flour. Also, their prices fluctuate every time I go in there, one day the bread will be 65 cents, the next visit the same bread will be 75 cents, just recently that same piece of pan was 1.00, they need to put their prices of their bread up, because it seems as though they may be discriminating. Lastly, it is clean in there overall, but they do not sanitize those tongs very often throughout the day. Flies land on them, people handle them and will sometimes drop them on the dirty floor, tongs should be changed out/ alternated with clean ones and sanitzed, at least every hour. I went to La Estrella Panadería to place a cake order for my nephew’s birthday. The day I ordered it, I paid for it up front. Today, 11/09/2021 was pickup. I waited in line until I was called forward to pick up the cake. I waited a while. Eventually they came back and advised me that they could not find the cake. They advised the baker was not there. They stated they did not know what happened. They tried offering another cake that was on display, which I declined because I was upset they did not have my cake order with the design I chose. The receipt has details, date and pick up time. How did they just forget to make it? She also offered me free bread, which I declined. I simply asked for my money back and left.
