I donated housewares and clothing items. And was curious to see the resale store so I stopped and looked around. And I found the following: •The clothing selection is very limited and a bit on the high price not your typical thrift store prices. I found rain boots that seemed new priced at $29.99. •They had a lot of furniture selection and I may say it was at reasonable prices considering it wasn’t in bad conditions. •The kitchen or housewares section is reasonable they had wine glasses at $1-$2. And tea cups with the plate taped together as a set for $2.99. I didn’t find anything that caught my eye so I didn’t make a purchase this visit; but I’m willing to return in the near future to see if they have anything new.

There are plenty of things to browse through here and find what you're looking for. The staff are very nice and answer any questions that you have. I found some great items to add to my collection of dishes and a gorgeous frame for my wall at home.

This place is a hidden gem! My wife bought me these for my man cave. Some stools still had tags all for less than $100. Like any place that takes donations, you never know when you’ll be the lucky one to walk in at the right time.

I’ve given Frisco Resale a second chance after several years, hoping maybe they’d come to their senses about pricing. Nope. Still stuck in fantasyland.

Let’s get one thing clear: this is not a thrift store. I asked an employee, and they confirmed—they’re a resale shop, which apparently is code for “we slap retail-level prices on donated goods.” I saw watercolor dog prints (clearly mass-produced, not gallery-worthy) for $20… while actual solid wood tables were going for $30. Used Converse for $50? That’s not quirky pricing—that’s delusion. These weren’t even close to new.

Lamps? Outrageous. Shoes? Mostly in the double digits and clearly worn. Clothing hovered around $6, which would be okay if the selection wasn’t so thin it looked like someone had already cleaned the place out. And don’t get me started on the infamous $70 used bean bag chair I saw years ago—that was the moment I first walked away. I asked why it was so high and no one could explain it. I later contacted them directly, and they claimed they were trying to compete with retail stores that sell new items. Say what now?

Selling donated items for nearly brand-new prices isn’t just bad business—it’s insulting to the people who shop resale for a reason. I walked in to a nearly empty store, and now I remember why. If this is their pricing model, I honestly don’t know how they’re still in business. Maybe people are donating out of charity, but I sure wouldn’t be shopping here unless I wanted to overpay for something I could get new for the same price or less!

If you’re looking for real deals, skip this place. You’re better off at any actual thrift store—or even Facebook...

OVERPRICED- This is a overpriced thrift store that wants to call itself Resale. $24 will get you two name brand shirts.

LAME SALES- previous sales used to change weekly and include clothes and furniture which was important since they are overpriced. Recent sales have included - lamps, but one get one free cds, 99 cent mugs. A stamp card is the only bonus.

RUDE STAFF- have a question about pricing, the lady in the glasses will make you feel like you are trying to rip them off. Need help looking at something behind the counter? You’ll be waiting a long time.

LOW INVENTORY- 70% of their clothing is marked DESIGNER NAME BRAND and placed in the back at marked up prices. This leaves 4 long racks of women’s clothes and 3 racks of men’s to choose from.

PAINFUL DONATIONS- long slowly moving drive through that is extremely picky. You’ll be told they won’t accept things after you’ve just drove by their dumpsters of electronics sitting out in the rain.

TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE - Grace Bridge by Stonebriar has color sale changes every week, different sales each day and awesome rewards via text and email. They also have a large inventory that is fresh daily. RECYCLE 2 Support in FM423 is fast, easy and they take it all. You have a choice of many donation partners. Your receipt is easily accessed from their website...

Just Bad, Real Bad: I took a cool distressed painted table in to donate rater than sell - got it part way off the truck at F. Resale, a young guy pipes up and says we don't take painted tables - I said "really, cool, chalk painted distressed?" - he went to get the manager and she came out guns blazing like I was some degenerate ready to argue ballistically, "look here, this little piece is missing, this, this and this" and stormed off . . . like no "hello", no "thanks for bringing this in, but it's not our policy take take painted tables" - just left me feeling a total moron for even thinking they would take such a crap piece! Customer niceties? None! I think the young guys who greet the cars / donators out the back were embarrassed by her. We have (had) chosen Frisco Resale as our local church mission to give vast (and I mean VAST) amounts of stuff to from our congregation households - Well that's over from this point! Up until now, over a ten plus year period we have had a GREAT experience with F R - and not everything we have donated has been accepted - but there is a way of saying no and that...
