ONE OF MY FAVORITE RESTAURANTS IN DFW šŸ—šŸ‘‡šŸ¼ šŸ“ The Heritage Table (7110 Main St, Frisco, TX 75033) I like that they offer the best of both worlds of fine dining, but in a comfortable setting that’s not pretentious! The location is set in a charming, historic home in downtown @Visit Frisco and they specialize in southern comfort, farm-to-table food which means their menu constantly evolves because they only use seasonal ingredients. I tried a bunch of items with my notable favorites being their Country Fried Chicken & Spaetzle šŸ”šŸ, Fried Green Tomatoes šŸ…, and their Strawberry & Duck Salad. šŸ¦†šŸ„— All in all, I had an amazing time here and suggest you check them out because the chef is a James Beard award semifinalist for best chef in Texas and all I’ll say is - the committee was spot on!! šŸ™ŒšŸ¼ šŸ·ļø #dallas #frisco #texas #jamesbeard #southernfood

The photos online cannot possibly capture the charm and quality of dining experience here! I was searching for a local restaurant to celebrate my husband and I’s 12 year anniversary together and although the atmosphere looked slightly lacking - the reviews told me it was worth a shot and thank GOODNESS for that because the interior has definitely gone through a bit of an update and the entire restaurant had a charming, historic but updated vibe to it. The staff was phenomenal- making every second of our time here enjoyable. The cute custom celebration card, the waiters and staff all wished us a happy anniversary when they came by our table, a complimentary sparkling wine or dessert to celebrate! They really go out of their way to make the night special and I couldn’t be more thankful for their efforts and kindness. The food itself is all farm to table - what we ordered was beyond anything we’d ordered from any typical fancy restaurant our dinner and dessert exceeded our expectations in flavor, presentation and quality did not sub for quantity by any means - every dish was fulfilling and delicious down to every bite. We both ordered the Country Fried Chicken & Spaetzle which was a medley of perfectly cooked chicken - so tender and delicious, the entire dish had a wonderful citrus zing that livened up every fork full until there was nothing left on the plates. I convinced my husband to get the balsamic friend Brussels sprouts and not only were they entirely enjoyable but I had to snatch away the last bite before he could gobble it down. The chocolate pie was decadent and perfectly paired with their homemade ice cream - so do not even dream of ordering one without the other. The head chef made an appearance around the restaurant, answering questions or just making sure to say hello to every table. Our entire meal and experience here was deserving of 10/5 stars if I could. It’s a rare occasion that a restaurant still takes the time to celebrate life’s little moments and provide such a special evening… most restaurants seem to have given up and just supply a half hearted attempt at something celebratory but NOT the amazing staff at Heritage Table. They make sure all the little details are in place that ensure a wonderfully memorable night… Cannot wait to go again with our friends on Thursday!

Want to try a scratch-made dinner that’s primarily sourced from the best local farmers, ranchers and artisans. You’ll find The Heritage Table right off Frisco on Main Street in the historic Gulledge House.

This dinner was deliciousšŸ˜‹.

We found a cozy spot out on the enclosed patio of this century old house and started with drinks from their full-service bar. A Blueberry Sage Smash with Rittenhouse rye whisky and I teetotaled with a Ginger Mojito Mocktail, not bad.

I started with a cup of creamy Mushroom Soup and could not finish off the healthy portion of Country-Fried Chicken Piccata and house-made pasta but it was hands down the most tender chicken I think I’ve ever had. I want to know the secret. I would have tried the Basque Cheesecake if I had any room left in my stomach, but I’ll save it for another trip if it’s still on the menu. They have some always on menu items but also change it up regularly depending on availability, seasons and the chef’s inspiration.

Kendall polished off the fresh and super fluffy Milk & Honey Rolls with Tomato Jam before I got a picture but they are a must. He went with the Chicken Pot Pie and side salad. And finished off his meal with room for at least half of the Chocolate Silk Pie with Oreo Crust.

I saw a couple plates of Fried Green Tomatoes pass by for the party of 6 next to us and Wagyu Beef Kofta Wraps for another couple. Compliments to Chef Vana coming from all.

I mean you can just taste that a lot of thought and care has been taken into this menu. It may be produce from their onsite garden. Chicken sourced from Windy Meadows Family Farm in Campbell TX. Mixed greens and vegetables from Jubilant Fields in Trenton. Microgreens and herbs from Profound in Lucas. And that’s what makes it so fantastic.

The host and bar staff were inviting and our server was attentive and on top of every detail. So not only was the food good, but the dining experience was enjoyable as well.

If Farm-to-Table dinners are your thing, this is a spot you won’t want to miss out on trying.
