Pushy rude sales people, the 3 day free pass requires a 45 minute tour (sales pitch) the dude at the front implied I didn’t work out when I didn’t want to do the tour because I told him I have a gym at home. We referred someone but they attached the wrong credit card to their account, fraudulently charging it then the solution the proposed was to have the friend Zelle back the money. They also didn’t disclose that the second buddy pass was a recurring charge (we went for the second buddy pass because I didn’t have 45 minutes on top of the time we needed for our workout) Don’t go here, there is literally no difference between here and crunch, golds, even planet and all of those are the same price or even less. Planet - $20/mo for premium Crunch - $10/mo Golds - $10/mo UFC - $30/mo This is the used car lot of gyms. Train your sales people. Like if you’re thinking of joining a gym and you’re concerned about judgement on your looks or your experience, that will happen here, but not from the members, from the employees. 30 seconds into meeting me this man was judging me I’m assuming based on how I looked because… that’s all he had to go off of at that point. I’ve never had someone judge me at any other gym, including all the gyms listed above. So clearly this is the culture of the workplace there. Dude was jacked so I’ll give him that. What’s annoying is that I could use a gym. I have a gym at home but no leg press, no hip machines, I don’t have dumbbells up to 100, so I could’ve used a membership here if they treated me with respect. However they...
Read moreI wish I can give negative points. I came early to see if I could get introduction to the facility, but unfortunately it was mened by one staff at 6am, and so he ask to come back at 8am. Upto this point I totally could understand that, but when I came back at 8am knowing I was waiting since 6am they should have at least to ask to have a sit...no courtesy or common sense I see at the pissed off guy standing from what it looks also a good 20 min or more leaning against the table as they had no courtesy to ask him to sit little bit. They asked him for his ID once, took him to show him around...20 minutes in the first guy I saw asked for my ID and took my info in his computer...another 5 minutes goes by and the second staff comes back with the first guest whom she gave a tour, and asks me for my ID again...at this point I don't want to say but this seems ridiculously why they have to keep on checking ID twice when clearly the first customer was let in with a single computer input...I explained to the second staff my frustration that I had wait 2 hours because of their deficiency in staff and that I didn't understand why they have to check twice my ID when they already input them with the first staff, and if the second had to do it herself again why did they even input them in the computer with first staff. Waste my time...I say look for another branch of 24 hour fitness where they have more than one staff working, and who understands importance...
Read moreMoved back into the area, about 4 blocks away and was thinking about joining 24hr as my current gym, Chuze, is too far away now. On June 12th I got a 3day pass to check out the facility. I could have just easily walked in as the attendants that were there were busy handling alot of customer issues at the counter. Even though it was chaotic I decided to wait, and wait. I presented my 3day phone pass to a tall, overweight man with curly hair. He fixated on my ID and asked alot of unnecessary questions about why I was there being from out of town, etc.. I explained that I was relocating back to the neighborhood because my mom is elderly, etc.. (not that it's any of his business). He said ok but he would need to give me a tour first. I said that's fine whatever you need to do and that I'll probably join anyway. Then he walked off with my ID. Appeared he was looking for someone lol. Honestly from the moment I dealt with this character he was giving me the third degree. Beyond annoying not to mention offensive to be treated with a weird skepticism. Totally unnecessary. In my mind I was thinking, oh this guy needs to go. Get rid of him. I ended up tracking him down and took my ID back. Told him what he put me through was beyond ridiculous to get a 3day pass. This character was a real piece work. Honestly, if you're thinking about a gym, don't come here. Plenty of other gyms...
