Fullerton Community Center — Local services in Fullerton

We hosted our sons first birthday here for about 100 people so a fairly large party and my negative review really has nothing to do with the venue just more for the host zoey. First off she's harder to contact than the president of the united states, it's impossible to get a call back or an email back from her and that's just hard to understand as she's the only party coordinator. In the beginning it wasn't too bad but once we paid the full amount then it was just all up in the air we had no idea when we could get in touch with her when she would call us back or anything. Secondly the main reason for our negative review is because when we initially checked out the outdoor courtyard venue we asked her what would happen if it rain's, and she specifically said that we don't double book parties on the same day so if it rains we'll move you into the indoor banquet room area, so we agreed to host our sons birthday here. A week before the party we knew it was going to rain because it was a bad rainstorm the next week so we adjusted our party to be at the indoor venue. Now 3 days before the party we get an email (not even a courtesy call) from zoey saying oh by the way we have to split the room to accomodate for another party so you guys will be sharing the room, here's the layout thanks. So of course after reading that email we were just shocked and furious because she promised that this wouldn't happen, who would spend thousands of dollars on a venue for their kids birthday and want to share the room with another kids birthday party. We had so many questions running through our minds, and as usual it's so difficult to get in touch with her. All in all the party went by smoothly no issues with noise or music conflicting with the other party but yes the lead up and the preparation for the party was such a mess having to work with Zoey. Would I recommend hosting a party here, although the venue is very nice I would not...

My wife and I stopped here looking for a place to swim laps a little later in the evening. It was cheap $3 each. We really enjoyed our time. The pool is shallow, I think the deepest is 4'6". At the time we went it wasn't very crowded but we did share a lane pretty much the whole time and we expected that. They also had some swimming devices we could use for different workouts. Wow! I like to see my tax dollars to work! This is a great facility I’ve never been to till today. A ton of classes, groups, community activities. I like how clean it is. Parking is no problem.
