Laguna Lake — Attraction in Fullerton

This is a nice place and open to the public. Is also good to take a walk, to walk your dog, family friendly, for fishing if you are into it, and biking.

There is a small parking lot and street parking across the other end of the lake, public restrooms, some benches around the lake, and ducks. At about the middle on the side of the lake there is this little hidden area where one can sit or walk around where water runs down to the lake

We lived in La Harbra back in the early 60's and used to fish here with my brothers. Things I remember are dragonflies, lilypads, frogs, bluegill, horse droppings, a small wooden dock at the south end, I think. It smelled like a lagoonish pond. I believe it was named Basanchury Lake. We thought it was pronounced "Bass and Cherry" Lake. Great memories. Our parents could leave us there all day...

Great fishing spot most people dont know about. Cleanest water of any of the parks in North O.C. The lake has Bass, Catfish, Carp and sunfish.
